Even at its current reduced level, it remains the third largest lake in Kentucky. Perched high above this watery expanse, the park offers visitors a wide array of recreational opportunities, from tennis to trails. New, in 2007, is the 18-hole disk golf course. Plenty to do at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park both on and off the lake. Geography Lake Cumberland State Resort Park is located in Russell County KY, south of Jamestown, on the northwestern edge of Lake Cumberland.
