Greetings Comrades,
Hello Again Everyone,
Hello Ladies of Post 2150,
I hope everyone had a
Happy Thanksgiving.
December will be one of our
busiest months of the year.
It starts off on Dec 6th this is
our annual Toys for Tots
Motorcycle Run. We need
all the volunteers we can
get. The weather outlook is
good, so this should be a
good run. If you can help
with registration please be
at McKinney Power Sports at
7:30AM. On Sunday Dec
7th we will host Bonham
Vets if you can help please
be at the post by 10AM.
We will have a Pearl Harbor
ceremony at the Post at
6PM on Dec 7th. On Dec
13th we will host the
Samaritan Inn kids for a
Christmas party. That
evening we will host a
wedding reception for
Dalton and Amanda.
Dece20th will be the Post
Christmas party. On
Christmas Day, the Post will
be closed. On Wednesday
Dec 31st. will be our New
Years Eve party. There will
be a $10.00 cover charge.
We will be serving ham,
blackeyed peas, cabbage,
and cornbread. The band
will be Sweating Bullets.
Should be a good time.

The holiday season has started,
hope this months newsletter
finds everyone in good health
and spirits. We have a busy
couple of weeks coming up
Dec 2 is Armed Forces Day
Dec 6 will be our Annual Toys for
Tots event. We needs lots of
volunteers, let me know if you
can help out.
Dec 7 is National Pearl Harbor
Remembrance Day, We will be
hosting the Bonham Veterans at
the Post, They will be arriving at
11:30am so come out and
enjoy some great camaraderie
and Ladies fabulous desserts.
Dec 13th Santa and Mrs Claus will
be stopping by the Post to deliver
some seasonal cheer over lunch.
We will start the festivities
around 11:30am, if you are
bringing a child please sign up at
the Post.
I want to Thank everyone for the
OUTSTANDING results that we
had at our Bake Sale after the
Fish Fry in November. It was a
record setting night!!!
Dec 19th will be Fish Fry again
and the Ladies will again be
hosting a Cake Auction. Maybe
we can do it again.
Dec 25th we will be closed to
allow our members to spend
time with their families.
Merry Christmas!
Dec 26th we will not be having a
band or cook night. Dec 31st will
be our Annual New Years Party,
come out and ring in the New
Year with us. May God Bless and

Post still has many things
to Host through the month
of December. Please check
the Post for updates on all
of the activities .
Just a reminder to all
Men’s Auxiliary Members

membership will expire
this month. If you haven’t
already renewed this

Tunnel or myself. Thanks
to all of you who have
already done this.
Another reminder is that
the Post will be hosting a
Super Bowl Party again. If
you attended last year I’m
sure you will want to
attend again. Please check
the post for more details.

Welcome new and transferred members. We are
pleased you have chosen the Lone Star Post 2150 as
your home post.
The next monthly Post meeting
will be held Monday Dec 8th at 6:30 PM.

Laptops Available for Use
The post recently had several laptop computers donated for the use of our members. These laptops are
setup to access our high speed Wi-Fi, and have other popular software programs on them. If you’re in
the post and would like to use one, just ask one of the bartenders
Community Service Reports
If you have information about anything our members have done for the community, please send to Lee
Francis as soon as possible. We need to get the reports in for our Program Participation. Please send
reports to: [email protected] or contact Lee at 459-667-8729.
Saving Coupons For Veterans Families
We have been asked to save coupons from our newspaper inserts etc. to be distributed to families of
current and former veterans. It would help if you can cut them out, but if not just bring in the entire
insert.
Just bring them in and give them to the person working the cantina. Please contact Tobi Viles for
additional information.
