26th – 29th January 2015
BERJAYA WATERFRONT HOTEL
Johor Bahru, Malaysia
“The International Safety Guide for Oil Tankers and Terminals (ISGOTT)
has become the standard reference work on the safe operation of oil
tankers and the terminals they serve. ISGOTT will continue to provide the
best technical guidance on tanker and terminal operations. With the
objective of providing in-depth understanding of the Guide, Master Mariner
Maritime Services Sdn. Bhd. proudly brings a four days course on ISGOTT”
INTRODUCTION
ISGOTT makes recommendations for tanker and terminal personnel on the safe carriage and
handling of crude oil and petroleum products on tankers and at terminals. The Guide was jointly
developed by the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), the Oil Companies International Marine
Forum (OCIMF) and the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH). This course is
divided into four parts: General Information, Tanker Information, Terminal Information and the
Management of the Tanker and Terminal Interface. The objective of this course is to provide the
participants with in-depth understanding of the Guide and its application. By the end of this course,
the participants will be able to implement safety procedures as recommended by the Guide.
