Body and Outlet Nozzle: Carbon steel, A-36 or equal. (Also
available in type 304SS, Style STS420)
Material Specifications
Bolts and Nuts: Trackhead bolts, heavy hex nuts, 3/4" UNC
rolled thread, high strength, low alloy, steel per AWWA C111.
Optional stainless steel, type 304.
Outlet Gaskets: SBR per ASTM D 2000, compounded for water and sewer service use. For 3"-12" size-on-size flanges, the
gaskets are reinforced with a metal ring. Larger than 12" sizeon-size sleeves use a square profile o-ring NBR per ASTM
D2000 set in a full body thickness cavity. Other compounds
available on request.
Test Plug: 3/4" NPT type 304 stainless steel test plug.
Flange Gaskets: 3” - 12” full face proprietary gasket are made
from Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) compounded for water and
sewer service in accordance with ASTM D2000. Other compounds
available for petroleum, chemicals or high temperature service.
Coating: Fusion epoxy 8-12 mil. lined and coated. Other coatings available. Romac packages sleeves to protect coating.

proper recessing for tapping valves. Will accommodate tapping
flanges per MSS SP-60. (Also Available with a threaded outlet,

Note: FTS420 is not recommended for use on thin wall pipe such
