About Teach First
How much you achieve in life should not be determined by how much your parents earn. Yet in the UK, it too
often is. We are an education charity. We work with like-minded people and organisations towards a day where
every child has the education they are entitled to. We train people with leadership potential to be inspirational
teachers in schools in low-income communities across the country. These leaders go on to work in schools and
other sectors of society towards our vision: a future where no child's educational success is limited by their
socio-economic background. For more information on the work we do and which regions we operate in, visit

Job summary
Teach First is currently recruiting for a talented and driven Resourcing Advisor. This is a brand new
position and we’re hoping to bring someone on board who has an appetite for adventure.
You’ll join an award winning HR department of 12 and be responsible for meeting the resourcing needs of a
national and growing organisation. In three years, we’ve cut agency spend from 90% to 8%, doubled the size of
the organisation from 250 to 500, launched an online recruitment system, created talent pools and influenced
how the organisation thinks. We’re proud of what we have achieved but there is still so much more to do.
As Resourcing Advisor, you’ll manage key stakeholder relationships for your client area and advise managers on
best in class direct sourcing solutions for live and anticipated vacancies and drive recruitment campaigns from
concept through to delivery, establishing an excellent pipeline of talent. You’ll support two client areas
(Operations and Programme Division) and work collaboratively alongside the other Resourcing Advisor (Regions
and External Relations Division) as well as HR Business Partners to meet the organisations resourcing needs.
This is more than a recruitment position. In this varied and busy role you’ll contribute to the wider HR strategy
and be involved in the full resourcing spectrum. This includes but is not limited to succession planning, talent
pipelining, org design, operational excellence, induction and workforce planning. You will also help to develop
systems that streamline the recruitment process, co-design new selection tools and drive forward projects to
strengthen our employer brand and quality of hire.
