Christmas with the carnuts
The Carnuts scored a great room for a Christmas party this year.
Too bad we can’t use it every year. Due to a scheduling mistake
we didn’t have to pay the $300 room charge or 22% user fee. So
next year it is back to our previous room. The food was delicious
and we really enjoyed everything. We had more room to visit
without strangers. We also had our private buffet.
Tanque Verde Guest Ranch is a
beautiful place to go on Christmas. The grounds were beautiful and everyone loved to pet
the horses.

Gearing up for Tubac
It is almost that time. January 31 is getting closer and closer. We are way ahead of last
year for registrations, BBQ and T-Shirts. If you haven’t sent in your registration, now is the
time before it fills up. The golf resort is already booked up solid. An alternate place to stay
is the Wyndham Canoa Hotel in Green Valley. They are offering a car show discount if you
mention the car show. Breakfast is included.
The Friday Night BBQ will be held at the Tubac Golf Resort again this year on January 30.
There will be a social hour with a cash bar at 5pm and dinner at 6pm. The menu is salad,
grilled chicken, ranch beans, corn on cob, pulled BBQ beef and drink.
On Saturday January 31 is the car show starting at 10am, with cars parking on the driving
range.
The deadline for entering a car is January 23, 2015. There will be no refunds after this date.
