Cpl. Michael Crescenz Memorial Foundation 842 Waterford Drive Delran, N.J. 08075-2220 MichaelCrescenzMOH.org Dear Friends, As many of you already know, Corporal Michael Crescenz, MOH, is the only Philadelphia native to be awarded the Medal of Honor during the Vietnam War. Sadly, his accomplishments have gone unnoticed and unappreciated for many years. A group of Veterans in the Philadelphia area decided it was time to correct this problem. There have already been several projects to honor Cpl. Crescenz in the area. Slowly we are getting there and giving him the honor he deserves. This group of Veterans is taking one more step. They are working tirelessly to have a bronze statue of Cpl. Crescenz cast and located in his hometown. Renowned sculptor Chad Fisher is going to create the statue. Chad is a Philadelphia native and very aware of Michael’s heroism. He approached us and is very honored to be the artist selected to to design and cast the statue. We are most honored to have Chad Fisher on the team. What we ask is your support. As always, we will need funds to get this done. If you would like to make a donation, there are currently three ways to do so: • If you are in the Bridesburg area You can drop off donations at the Port Richmond Savings located at Allegheny Ave. and Belgrade St. (ask for Sue) • You can mail a check to: Cpl.
