Madani Pearls Regarding
Muharram-ul-Haram
World Level Majlis (Dawat-e-Islami)
Shaikh-e-Tareeqat Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat shows his desire that:
“May Muslims would enthusiastically welcome the new
Madani
(Islamic) year instead of the non-Islamic new year. The
Muslims’ new year begins on 1st Muḥarram. If possible, promote
the tradition of congratulating each other in Muharram upon the
arrival of the new Madani year. (Faizan-e-Sunnat Vol-1 pg-902)
It is said by Ameer-e-Ahle-e-Sunnat in Madani Muzakra of 8th
Zul-Hijja-tul-Haram 1432hijri that: “The meaning of Mubarakbadi
(congratulating) is that “May this occasion prove to be blessed for
you.” So for fulfilling the desire of Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat we
should congratulate each other on 1st Muharram-ul-Haram for new year.
Following Madani pearls should be conveyed to all
Responsible islamic sisters before calling in Meeting for
“Madani pearls regarding Muharram-ul-Haram”.
Duration of Madani Mashwara (meeting) will be 1 hour 41 minutes.
Responsible islamic sisters should attend this Madani
Mashwara (meeting) from start to end.(it is better to arrange this Madani
Mashwara in usual monthly mashwara)
As
soon as you get these Madani pearls, call for a Madani
Mashwara (meeting) for explaining these to the Islamic sisters.
Duration of this Madani Mashwara should be 1 hour and 41 minutes.
If someone is not able to attend the meeting, she should be
explained these pearls later on.

If stall of Taweezat-e-Attariya is arranged in any Kabina then
Responsible Islamic sister of Kabina level should make
arrangements through Responsible Islamic sister of stall of
Tawezat-e-Attaria of narrating “Excellence of writing a a a at all stalls of Taweezat-e-Attaria after Cassette
Congregation or Dars, before 1st Muharram-ul-Haram.
In all educational institutes of kabina where Dars Congregation
is held under the supervision of Dawat-e-Islami, or where we
can conduct this arrangement, Responsible Islamic sister of
Shoba-e-Ta’leem/ Majlis-e-Rabita (Area level) should make
arrangements with the help of preacher islamic sisters of
narrating “Excellence of writing a a a ” after delivering
Dars on any day before 1st Muharram-ul-Haram.
If there is “Madani Training Centre” in any Kabina then
Responsible Islamic sister of Kabinaat level should make
arrangements through Responsible Islamic sister of Majlis of
Madani training centre of narrating “Excellence of writing a st
a a before 1 Muharram-ul-Haram.
If
Arrangement of 3days Congregation before 10th
Muharram-ul-Haram
1) 3days Congregation should be hold in such 3 continued days
that one of its three days would be routine day of weekly
Sunnah inspiring Congregation.
If there is any inconvenience in arranging continue three days,
then it can be hold with gap or alternate days.

3 days Congregation should not be held on the day of weekly
training session.
If congregation of Calling people towards righteousness comes
during 3 days Congregation then congregation of Calling people
towards righteousness should not be arranged on that day.
If the day of monthly Madani meeting comes during 3 days
Congregation then Madani Meeting should be postpone and
should be arranged on any other day.

2) If 9 of Muharram-ul-Haram is commencing during 3 days
Congregation in such areas where paths are blocked due to
procession/ niyaz/ congregations etc, then Congregation should
be arranged in 2 days only and Congregation should not be held
on 9th of Muharram-ul-Haram.
3) 3 days Congregation should be held at the level and place of
weekly Sunnah inspiring Congregation.
If voice cannot be hear properly because of exceeding the number
of participants then Congregation can be divided just for these 3 days.
In case of dividing Congregation, nearest Jamiat-ul-Madina (lilbanat) or Madrasa-tul-Madina (lil-banat) should be preferred.
Otherwise make arrangements at any available place which is
according the Madani pearls of helding Congregation.
(Remember! Schedule of jamia or Madrasa should not be affected)
4) Responsible Islamic sister of Area level Majlis should make
announcements in Sunnah Inspiring Congregation two weeks
before the 3 days Congregation and make utmost persuasion for
attending 3 days Congregation.
Also persuade participant Islamic sisters to bring with them as
more Islamic sisters as they can.
5) 3 days Congregation should be arranged according to the
“Schedule of 3 days Congregation” and “Announcements
for 3 days Congregation” in all areas. (These papers are enclosed)

8) Madani Donation box should be kept in all three days.
9) If Congregation is held at residence of any Islamic sister and
she wishes to distribute sweets or drink in 3 days Congregation,
she may allowed to do so.
10) Madrasa-tul-Madina (adult classes) should be adjusted before or
after the timing of 3 days Congregation, so that they can attend
3 days Congregation too.
11) Make available literature regarding Muharram-ul-Haram at the
stall of Maktaba-tul-Madina in Sunnah inspiring Congregation
and weekly training session (if available easily) according to the
“List of literature regarding Martyrdom of Imam Hussainaa
”. (it is enclosed here)
Make persuasion by
making announcements in Sunnah
inspiring Congregation for purchasing, reading and distributing
this literature of Maktaba-tul-Madina for conveying Sawab
(reward) to martyrs of Karbala.
12) If there is day of weekly sunnah inspiring Congregation or
weekly training session on 10th of Muharram-ul-haram, then
Congregation would not be held. So Responsible Islamic sister
of Area level Majlis should inform about this by
announcements in all Sunnah Inspiring Congregations and
Weekly Training Sessions one week before 10th of Muharram.
13) It is narrated by Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat in his Madani Muzakra
conducted
in Ramadan-ul-Mubarak 1433 hijri, that:

is the plural of a martyr (with the zabr at ‫ )ھ‬while
(shuhda)
is said to a notoriously bad character. (with the Jazm at ‫)ھ‬
It should be conveyed to participants of Weekly Training
Session through announcement.

Muharram-ul-Haram by Individual efforts of
Islamic sisters
All
Responsible Islamic sister of Area level Majlis should make
persuasion by announcement in all Sunnah inspiring Congregation
one week before Muharram-ul-Haram and during the first week
of Muharram-ul-Haram for making individual efforts on their
maharim (non-Marrigeable man) to travel in Madani Qafila on
8,9,10th Muharram-ul-Haram. Who succeed in her individual
efforts, make note her name to her Responsible islamic sister.
Kabinaat
level Islamic sister should mail “Report form for
Mehram’s travel in Madani Qafila on 8,9,10th Muharramul-Haram 1436 by Individual efforts of Islamic sisters
(kabinaat level)” to responsible Islamic brother of Majlis madani
work in Islamic sisters (kabinaat level) along with submitting to responsible
Islamic sister of country level up to 18th of Muharram-ul-Haram.
Responsible islamic sister of Foreign country should mail “Report
form for Mehram’s travel in Madani Qafila on 8,9,10th
Muharram-ul-Haram 1436 by Individual efforts of Islamic
sisters (kabina level)” to responsible Islamic brother of Majlis madani
work in Islamic sisters (kabina level) along with submitting to relevant
member of world level Majlis up to 16th of Muharram-ul-Haram.
Country level Responsible islamic sister should mail “Report
form for Mehram’s travel in Madani Qafila on 8,9,10th
Muharram-ul-Haram 1436 by Individual efforts of Islamic
sisters (Country level)” to responsible Islamic brother of Majlis
madani work in Islamic sisters (Country level) along with
submitting to relevant member of world level Majlis up to 20th
of Muharram-ul-Haram.

6) Responsible Islamic sister of Area level Majlis can arrange one
Muballigha (preacher Islamic sister) for all 3 days or alternate
Muballighat according to situation of their area.
7) Maktaba-tul-Madina (lil-banat) should be arranged in all three days.
8) Madani Donation box should be kept in all three days.
9) If Congregation is held at residence of any Islamic sister and
she wishes to distribute sweets or drink in 3 days Congregation,
she may allowed to do so.
10) Madrasa-tul-Madina (adult classes) should be adjusted before or
after the timing of 3 days Congregation, so that they can attend
3 days Congregation too.
11) Make available literature regarding Muharram-ul-Haram at the
stall of Maktaba-tul-Madina in Sunnah inspiring Congregation
and weekly training session (if available easily) according to the
“List of literature regarding Martyrdom of Imam Hussainaa
”. (it is enclosed here)
Make persuasion by
making announcements in Sunnah
inspiring Congregation for purchasing, reading and distributing
this literature of Maktaba-tul-Madina for conveying Sawab
(reward) to martyrs of Karbala.
12) If there is day of weekly sunnah inspiring Congregation or
weekly training session on 10th of Muharram-ul-haram, then
Congregation would not be held. So Responsible Islamic sister
of Area level Majlis should inform about this by
announcements in all Sunnah Inspiring Congregations and
Weekly Training Sessions one week before 10th of Muharram.
13) It is narrated by Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat in his Madani Muzakra
conducted
in Ramadan-ul-Mubarak 1433 hijri, that:

is the plural of a martyr (with the zabr at ‫ )ھ‬while
(shuhda)
is said to a notoriously bad character. (with the Jazm at ‫)ھ‬

Excellence of writing
Dear islamic sisters! This madani pearl is included in chapter one “Excellence of
‫َٰ ْ ہ‬

ّ ‫ “ ّبس ّم‬of
Faizan-e-Sunnat (volume 1) that:

Whoever writes ‫الر ّح ْیم‬
‫الرحم ّن‬
‫الِل‬
ّ ‫ ّبس ّم‬130 times (or gets it written on a piece of paper)on 1st Muharram-ul-Ḥaram and keeps it with him (or puts it
on as a Ta’weez after covering it in a plastic coating or getting it sewn in some cloth or leather) ‫ ان شاء الِل عزوجل‬, he and all of his
family members will remain safe from every type of evil throughout their life. (extracted from faizan-e-Sunnat Vol-1 pg 92)

‫ ٭‬It is not permissible for males to wear a Ta’weez kept in a gold or silver or any other metallic casing. Likewise, it is also
impermissible and a sin for males to wear a chain made of any metal whether or not the chain contains a Ta’weez. Further, it is not
permissible for males to wear a locket, bracelet or bangle made of gold, silver, steel or any type of metal, whether or not anything is
inscribed on it, or even if the blessed name of Allah ‫ل‬
ََّّ ‫ َع َّز َو َج‬or Kalimaĥ Ṭayyibah etc. is inscribed. Women, however, are permitted to
wear a Ta’wīż encased in a silver or gold box (i.e. a type of locket) .(faizan-e-Sunnat Vol-1 pg 48)
‫ ٭‬Write using permanent ink (such as a ball point pen/marker) and leave the circles of

‫ ہ‬and all the three ‫ م‬of ‫الِل َٰالر ْح ہم ّن َٰالر ّح ْیم‬
‫ ّبس ّم‬open. A

principle of Ta’weez writing is that when writing an Ayah or any particular text, the circle of every circle-containing letter should
remain open, e.g. .‫ ق ف و ض ص ھ ہ ظ ط‬It is not necessary to put diacritical marks. .(faizan-e-Sunnat Vol-1 pg 47)

means to keep in pocket, to hang in home or shop, are all correct .(Dar-ul-Ifta Ahl-e-Sunnat)

kinds of people whose Salah will not be accepted, and nor their
any good deed, one of them is a wife whose husband is not
happy with her.” (Bahar-e-Shari’at part-7 pg536) Hence, married Islamic
sisters should make agreed their husbands by apologizing and
make all rights forgiven by them.
If anyone amongst your friends, relatives, neighbors is annoyed
with you, then also apologize to them and try to do this before
the commencement of auspicious night, otherwise must do on
the auspicious day.
It is narrated in Bahar-e-Shari’at part 16 pg 59 Masla no 35
(maktaba-tul-Madina) that: “Black dresses should not be wear
during Days of Muharram (i.e from the 1st to 12th of Muharram-ul Haram)
because it is the practice of Rafizis.

Dear Islamic sisters!
Get freed from routine works by the sunset, prepare for worship
on the night of ‘ashura. So that you can be succeed in gaining
pleasure of ‫ ﷲعزوجل‬by keep worshipping whole night.
Riyazat kay yehi din hain, burhapay main kahan himmat
Jo karna hai abhi kar lo! Abhi noori jawan tum ho
(saman-e-Bakhshish)
Islamic sisters should not arrange Mehfil (congregation) after
Maghrib prayer or staying in night at others home. Offer
prayers at your own home instead of spending night elsewhere.
So blessings and auspiciousness will be showered at your home

If you have missed Salah to be prayed then try to pray it
abundantly, otherwise offer Nafl Salah and Salat-ul-Tasbeeh.

Muharram-ul-Haram
Recite Durood with abundance. Recite at least 1200 times with
heart and humility, facing towards Madina, closing your eyes and
with the imagination of beloved green Dome.
Practice Qufl-e-Madina pertaining to the tongue this night and
on the day of ‘ashura. Try to saying just good phrases, Zikr-eIlahi‫عزوجل‬and Durood only.
Read at least four pages of Faizan-e-Sunnat, and booklet
“Causes of bad end” or chapter of Faizan-e-Sunnat vol-1 named
“Backbiting”.
It is stated in Faizan-e-Sunnat vol-1 that: “whenever you
observe fast on the day of ‘ashura, it is better to fast on either
the 9th or 11th of Muharram in addition.
This Hadees-e-Mubaraka is quoted in Muslim Shareeef that
beloved prophet a a a
aa said that: “I have hope in Allah that the fast of ‘ashura wipes out the sins of the previous year.”
Remember! If anybody faces difficulty in fasting 2 days she can
keep fast for one day only.
It is stated in Bahar-e-Shariyat vol-16 that “Taziye (Memorials)
should neither be seen by yourself nor send your children to see
that. Also don’t offer any niyaz on these memorials etc.
Recite Fatiha on Niyaz and distribute to neighbors. Beside niyaz
also distribute books / booklets of Maktaba-tul-Madina.

Muharram-ul-Haram
Recite Durood with abundance. Recite at least 1200 times with
heart and humility, facing towards Madina, closing your eyes and
with the imagination of beloved green Dome.
Practice Qufl-e-Madina pertaining to the tongue this night and
on the day of ‘ashura. Try to saying just good phrases, Zikr-eIlahi‫عزوجل‬and Durood only.
Read at least four pages of Faizan-e-Sunnat, and booklet
“Causes of bad end” or chapter of Faizan-e-Sunnat vol-1 named
“Backbiting”.
It is stated in Faizan-e-Sunnat vol-1 that: “whenever you
observe fast on the day of ‘ashura, it is better to fast on either
the 9th or 11th of Muharram in addition.
This Hadees-e-Mubaraka is quoted in Muslim Shareeef that
beloved prophet a a a
aa said that: “I have hope in Allah that the fast of ‘ashura wipes out the sins of the previous year.”
Remember! If anybody faces difficulty in fasting 2 days she can
keep fast for one day only.
It is stated in Bahar-e-Shariyat vol-16 that “Taziye (Memorials)
should neither be seen by yourself nor send your children to see
that. Also don’t offer any niyaz on these memorials etc.
Recite Fatiha on Niyaz and distribute to neighbors. Beside niyaz
also distribute books / booklets of Maktaba-tul-Madina.

Announcement for the 3rd Day
Of 3 Days Congregation
Now you will be briefed about some virtuous acts to be performed
on 9th and 10th of Muharram-ul-Haram. All Islamic sisters are
requested to listen carefully and if possible note these down too.
Beside these, some are also mentioned in book “Madani Treasure
of blessings”. If you don’t have this book yet, you can buy it from
stall of Maktaba-tul-Madina.
Dear Islamic sisters!
On the day of ‘Ashura, praying make obligatory for yourself.
Ulama consider Mustahab (preferable) the following 10 deeds to
be done on 10th of ‘Ashura:
(1)To keep fast,
(2) to give out Sadaqa
(3) To offer Nafl Salah
(4) to recite Sura-e-Ikhlas 1000 times
(5) visiting to Ulama
(6) stroking the head of an orphan
It is a blessing to stroke the head of an orphan on the day of ‘Ashura.
This Hadees is stated in the book Mishkat Shareef pg-423, Fazail-eAyyam wa-shuhoor pg 245 that it is narrated by Hazrat Abdullah
Ibn-e-Abbas a a a that , Rasool-ul-lah a a a a a , said:
whoever strokes the head of an orphan on the day of ‘Ashoora,
a will enhance his status in Jannah in accordance to
number of hairs of orphan.
Remember! the definition of an orphan in the Shari’ah is that an
orphan is that minor child whose either both or one of the
parents have died, as he/she become Baligh (major) he/she will
not called orphan.

(7) To cook good food for the family
On the day of ‘Ashura, more food than usual should be prepared, it
is said by the Hakim-ul-ummah, Mufti Ahmed Yaar Khan Na’eemi

a that: On the 10 of Muharram, prepare delicious foods
for the family, a
a there will be blessing in the home for the
entire year. It is better to cook Khichra (a meal prepared by intense
cooking of meat along with almost all kinds of pulses until homogenous paste is
obtained) and to perform Fatiha for Sayyiduna Imam Hussain a a a
this is proven to be very beneficial.
It is stated in the book “Jannati Zewar” that “to distribute juices
or milk especially to poor has tremendous reward. Drink of
milk is prepared and distribute for conveying reward to martyrs
of Karbala is virtuous. Distribute food of Niyaz after reciting
Fatiha to neighbors etc.

It is stated in Faizan-e-Sunnat (new) that the Holy prophet

a , has stated: “Whoever applies Ismad Kohl into eyes on
the day of ‘Aashoorah, his eyes will never suffer ache.
Although this Hadees is “Za’eef” (term used in principles of Hadees), but
“za’eef” hadees is considered authentic in regard of blessings.
Also Mufti Ahmed Yar Khan Na’eemi a has persuaded to
put kohl on 10th of Muharram in his book “Islami zindagi”, so
kohl should be put in eyes on 10th of Muharram-ul-Harma.
(10) Trimming of nails (teach Sunnah method of trimming nails)
Beside these, these three good deeds are also Mustahab to
perform on this day.

(2) to reconcile the enemies
