Ipswich Vikings 80th Birthday Development Meet Saturday 17 Jan 2015 Ipswich Vikings wishes to extend an invitation to your club to join us as we celebrate 80 years of swimming in our Inaugural Development Meet, to be held at Bundamba Aquatic Centre. This meet is sanctioned by Swimming Qld and times may be used to qualify for all meets except Qld and Australian Championships. Rule Tolerance times are not recognized Date: Saturday, 17 January 2015 Time: 8am warmup Venue: Bundamba Aquatic Centre Brisbane Road Bundamba Session One: 9am start for juniors Session Two: Not before 11.30am for seniors Age: As at 17 Jan 2015 Cost: $5 per event TM, $6 for manual entry $4 for a relay team Programs: $2 admission for spectators $3 per program Eligibility: Entry is open to all Swimming Queensland ‘Competitive’ Registered swimmers. Entries from other states or International swimmers will be accepted with clearance from that State or National Federation Relays: Mixed relays will consist of two boys and two girls within the age groups specified Entries may be submitted on the day by event 7 for junior entries and event 26 for seniors Awards: Ribbons for Rule tolerance events Medals for fastest three times in ages 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and over Trophies will be presented to fastest three relay teams in each event – junior and senior Facility: A grandstand runs down one side of the pool, gazebos are allowed but please no pegs due to underground irrigation Ipswich Vikings 80th Birthday Development Meet Saturday 17 Jan 2015 Catering: A canteen and BBQ will be running for the carnival with provisions for hot food, tea and coffee Rules: This meet will be conducted under SQ/ SAL rules. The Club Race Secretary or Representative will receive an email confirmation for their entries and a timekeeping roster by Monday 12th January 2015 Entries: All entries must be submitted by the Club’s Race Secretary using Team Manager or Manual Entry form.
