between 28.0 to 30.0o C and Minimum temperature between 16.0 to 17.0oC. Relative humidity in the

Harvesting : Since dry weather is going to prevail, harvesting and threshing of crops and picking of
cotton and chilli may be taken up.

Field crops:
Sunflower
To manage, powdery mildew disease, take up spraying of 1 ml Hexaconazole 5 EC or Dipenconazole 25
EC dissolved in one liter of water. Repeat the same spray after 15 days.
To manage leaf spot disease, take up spraying of 2 gram Zineb 80 WP or Mencozeb 75 WP or 1 ml
Hexaconazole 5 Ec dissolved in one liter pf water.
To manage, pod borer, take up spraying of 0.15 ml Rynaxiphyr 20 SC or 2 gram Imamectin Benzoate 5
SG, dissolved in one liter of water.
To manage, powdery mildew, take up spraying of 0.5 gram Carbandizemer 50 WP dissolved in one
liter of water.
To control Pod borer insect, the following measures should be followed.

Erect the branched wooden poles (taller then the crop) in redgram field so as to facilitate the birds to
sit on it and they can easily see the larvae of Heliothis pod borer and eat them.
To manage, powdery mildew, take up spraying of 0.5 gram Carbandizemer 50 WP dissolved in one
liter of water.
Take up spraying of 0.15 ml Rynoxiphyre 20 SC, or 2 gram Imamexin Benzoate 5 SG dissolved in one
liter of water.
To manage, sucking pests, take up spraying of 2 gram Thiamethacom 25 WG or 1 gram Acephate 75
SP or 1.75 ml Dimethoate 30 EC, dissolved in one liter of water.
To manage, leaf spot disease, take up spraying of 2 gram Mencozeb 75 WP dissolved in one liter of
water.
To control Pod borer insect, the following measures should be followed.
Erect the branched wooden poles (taller then the crop) in redgram field so as to facilitate the birds to
sit on it and they can easily see the larvae of Heliothis pod borer and eat them.
• Remove the grown up larvae by hand picking and kill.
• Spray the crop with 5 per cent neem seed extract or 2 ml Prophenophos 50 EC or 0.6 gram Methomyl
40 SP dissolved in one liter of water.
• Take up spraying of 0.15 ml Rynoxiphyre 20 SC, or 2 gram Imamexin Benzoate 5 SG dissolved in one
liter of water.
• Do not use the same insecticide repeatedly.
• Use only hand operated pumps for spraying. Do not use power sprayer or battery operated pumps.

To manage leaf reddening, take up spraying 1 per cent Magnesium Sulphate + 0.5 per cent Zinc
Sulphate or 2 per cent Urea or DAP .
To manage sucking pests, take up spraying of 1.5 ml Oxydemiton Methyl 25 EC or 2 m Dimethoate 30
EC or 2 gram Ace[phate 20 SP dissolved in one liter of water.
• Chilli crop which is sown in the month of June is at harvesting stage.
• · Dry fruits can be harvested 70-80 days after trance planting
Vermicompost pit management :
Care should be taken that excess moisture is not there in the Vermin-compost pits.
