By Bus
• There are bus stops in St Peter's Square, Albert Square and on Princess Street.
By Train or Metrolink
• The nearest Metrolink station to the Town Hall complex is St Peter's Square.
• Take a Metrolink tram from Piccadilly, Victoria and Deansgate train stations to St Peter's Square.
By Car
• Parking is often difficult around the Town Hall complex. You may be able to find a space in one of the
pay and display parking bays.
• There are a small number of spaces reserved for disabled drivers at the front of Central Library in
St Peter's Square. You must have a disabled parking permit to use one of these spaces. In addition,
there is limited space on Lloyd Street directly outside the Town Hall for disabled drivers and contractors.
• There are a number of car parks in Manchester city centre operated by NCP.

Getting to the Town Hall
• There are four entrances.
• The main entrance to the Town Hall building is in Albert Square, the second entrance on Lloyd Street.
• The extension also has two entrances, one on Lloyd street and one in St Peter's Square.
• There is a reception point at each of the four entrances. Both the entrances to the Town Hall building
have steps, however, there is a ramp next to the Lloyd Street entrance. The two entrances to the
Town Hall extension are at street level with no steps.
