Simone Gangolf
52D Force Support Squadron Star Performer
Congratulations to Ms. Simone Gangolf, the Force Support
Squadron’s newest star performer!
Simone is a Human Resources Specialist in the Civilian Personnel
Office and has been working in there since May 2013. She is part of the US staffing team and
is normally the first person that supervisors and managers talk to when they need to fill a
vacant position. Simone has ensured that she understands the function and requirements
of each of the organizations she services and routinely goes out of her way to help find a
solution to any problem that may be encountered. She constantly strives to provide truly
outstanding customer service.
Simone also responds to customer inquiries and explains the different types of appointment
eligibilities, employee benefits and entitlements and general employment questions. She
is a true team player and she has stepped up to assume an additional workload due to a
staffing specialist vacancy for almost a year and a 4 month vacancy in a staffing assistant
position. She has serviced more organizations as well as worked the front desk greeting
customers with a smile. Her flexibility and “can do” attitude has played a pivotal part in
ensuring the Civilian Personnel Office continues to provide great customer service.
Thank you Simone for all that you do for the 52d Force Support Squadron. You are a true asset
to the Civilian Personnel Office. Keep up the good work!

Tour de Germany
Individuals will run or cycle to various places
(either on the track, road, or cardio machines).
At each “destination” reached, the participant will earn a
prize until the run is done. This is a family program
so mileage ran can be added together.
Wall of Fitness
Based on Strength
Members will try to bench press, squat, or dead lift weight,
based on their body weight, to get their pictures posted
on the “wall of fitness”. They can lift in any category or all
categories. A t-shirt is received for most weight lifted.
Row the Rhein
Participants will row the distance of the Rhein River totalling
1233km or 765 miles. The program will be divided into two
separate categories. During the first half of the program,
members will row 615km or 383 miles. During the second half,
members will row the remaining distance. At each destination
reached, the participant will earn a prize.
