Welcome to our Spring
programme of activities
So what’s new?
Worthing College to become
fifth leisure site
New for January 2015, this partnership with
Worthing College is a welcome addition to
our FIT4 offering. Boasting a 30 station airconditioned Fitness Suite with state-of-the-art
gym equipment, there will also be new classes
in the Studio increasing our programme to
over 300 per week!
Trust Update
I am looking forward to the establishment
of South Downs Leisure as a Trust that will
operate the current Worthing Leisure facilities
from April 1st 2015. This will in time see the
venues benefit through reinvestment into new
equipment and facilities.
Appointed Trustees
We have appointed a Board of eight
Community Trustees all of which work or
live in Worthing and show a keen interest in
the organisation's future. Each Trustee has
specialist skills in areas such as finance, legal,
marketing and human resources. Further
details can be found online.
Forthcoming Events
We are delighted to welcome the return of the
ground-breaking Out and Proud Ball, at Field
Place on 7th March 2015, a gay-friendly event
with burlesque cabaret and a 3 course dinner.
We also see the return of our successful
Antique Fairs to Worthing Leisure Centre with
dates confirmed for March, May, September
and November.
And if you are newly engaged,
CONGRATULATIONS and have a glass
of bubbly on us! Come to Field Place on
14th and 15th February 2015 for a special
Valentine’s Day wedding weekend. This is your
chance to check out this beautiful venue whilst
fully dressed for a wedding and meet some of
our recommended local suppliers.

Membership Prices
FIT4 membership is an allinclusive fitness package, spread
across FIVE leisure sites; consisting of
4 well equipped fitness suites, swimming
pools/spa facilities, over 300 fitness classes along with a variety
of racquet sports and other activities (waiting lists and time
restrictions may apply for some activities, visit our website for
full details).
Individual membership
Individual adult memberships paid either
upfront for the year or by monthly Direct
Debit are Price for Life.
Joining fee £47.50
Pay monthly by direct debit £44
Concessionary membership
It is available to:
• Joint members (2 family members or
partners who live in the same household)
• Students (aged 16 or over and in full-time
education)
• People aged 60 or over
• People on employment support allowance.
Individual joining fee £47.50
Joint member joining fee - £32.50 each
Pay monthly by direct debit £36.50
Junior membership
A fitness programme designed for
youngsters from 0 to 16 years. It provides an
extensive and varied range of activities and
classes across the four leisure sites.

Corporate membership
Our corporate membership is suitable for
various organisations including sports teams
or social clubs. The minimum requirement is
10 people or more in order to qualify.

Family membership
This fun, family option means adults and
children can enjoy our facilities together or
individually – whether it’s swimming, booking
courts or courses. Young people aged 13+
can join some of our fantastic fitness classes
as well! Prices vary depending on the
number of children and adults:

Pay monthly by direct debit £118.90
for 2 adults and 3 or more children
(max of 7 members)
Pay monthly by direct debit £100.00
for 2 adults and 2 children or

Centre Membership
Non-FIT4
Centre Membership is a great option for those more
infrequent users of our facilities or for those that are
affiliated with one particular sports related activity.
For example, if you are only interested in playing
badminton or swimming and can only do so once a
week, centre membership would be your cheapest
option.
When becoming a centre member, you pay a oneoff fee each year and then receive a reduced
member’s rate on activities. Centre membership
also means that you get early booking priority with
the ability to book up to 7 days in advance.
Annual Centre Membership
Prices:
Adult Member - £30
Juniors/Over 60’s - £20
Family (2 adults and 2 juniors) - £65
Please speak to us in person to ensure you get
exactly the right package for you.
Non-Members
Where space is available, non members may
use our facilities on a pay per session basis.
For customers using our gyms, the cost is just
£8.75 per session (£6.50 per session at
Davison Leisure Centre). For our fitness
classes, please go to pages 8-19 for class
descriptions and non-member prices. For all
other activities, please speak to us in person.
Please note, non-members can only book
3 days in advance so availability may be limited
and payment will need to be taken with your
booking.

Grade II listed Field Place is an ideal multi-use
venue within which to host your special event,
corporate meeting, or seminar. This flexible venue
can also accommodate parties, awards evenings
and of course… weddings.
Rooms are available for hire within its Grade II
listed manor house, perfect for both civil marriages
and partnerships. Set within 8 acres of beautiful
grounds, Field Place boasts two fully licensed
converted barns; ideal buildings within
which to host receptions, private
parties or functions.

Lessons
Adult swimming lessons are run during term
time on Wednesday and Sunday evenings for
Beginners and Improvers. It’s never too late
to learn!
Beginners
Course for complete beginners who want to
gain water confidence and learn to swim.

Sundays: 19.00
Improvers
Course for adults who can swim but want to
improve their technique.
