Rules and Regulations
 Only Tamil Nadu Players are eligible to participate.

Fide rapid rules in force shall apply and the Swiss system will be followed.
 Time control: 30 minutes each.
 First round starts at 11.00am on 10th January2015
 Last date for entries is on 2nd January2015.The entries
received from 3rd to 8th January will attract a late fee of
Rs100/-per player. No spot entries allowed
 All participants must be registered with TNSCA. The registration for the
year 2014-15 is Rs100/- The participants must submit a photo copy of
their DOB Certificate along with passport size photograph for
registration. Kanchi District Players have to pay Rs.50/- for KDCA
registration for the year 2014-15 if not paid before.
 Chess set:-Players must bring their own International Chess sets (and
Chess clock if, any)
 Tie break:-Buchholz tie break system will be applied.
 The arbiter’s decisions shall be Final and Binding on all players.
 The organizer SVV Vidyalaya/MCA/TNSCA /KDCA reserves the right
to admit/refuse any entry without assigning any reason thereof.
 The organizer SVV Vidyalaya/MCA/ TNSCA/ KDCA reserve the rights
of admission to the Venue and lodging places.
 Participation Certificates will be given to all Participants.
 Out station players will be provided dormitory accommodation at school
class rooms.
ENTRY FEE:Rs 200/-(Rupees Two hundred only) should be sent by

Our Vidyalaya at Chitlapakkam, a unit of Vivekananda Educational
Society was established in the
year 1999 with the CBSE curriculum upgraded to Junior College in
the year 2010 with the students
strength of around 1600.
The school is being managed by a committee of eminent
educationists, philanthropists and social workers.
The school aims at providing man making and child centered
education through character building with, National and Spiritual
fervour as professed by Swami Vivekananda.
The school has produced cent percent pass in the qualifying AISSCE
Board examination in class -XII ,and for the Eighth consecutive years
in Class X – AISSE with many students achieving meritorious
performance.
We have Implemented unique play way method in teaching at the
pre-primary level.
School functions as a centre for many social service activities like
running free tuitions centre, supporting Orphanages, Conducting
Annadhanam, Blood and Eye donation camps and organising
Kuthuvillakku pooja. Parents are involved in Uzhavarapani. IMCT
Programmes are conducted to inculcate values in the children.
The school sends team of players to represent National Level games
and SGFI.
Non – Scholastic areas are also not spend.The school takes pride in
conducting the second Tamilnadu State Level Children Chess
Tournament jointly organised by Mount Chess Academy.
