OUR HISTORY
Orion has been managing production programs for different brands. Each one of
these projects has been planned according to the specific customer’s needs and
managed with the expertise and know-how developed in the process.
Our strategy is based on the principle of specialization, meaning that just as
the factories are good at manufacturing shoes, tanneries are good at producing
leather; Orion provides solutions in developing, planning, implementing,
managing, quality control, shipments, logistics and communications.

Implementation
Once the lines are developed, we carry on validating the
main technical aspects of the shoes and preparing them for
production in order to prevent any issue.
•We work with confirmation samples as a base for all
production and materials supply.
•Fit tests (size run)
•Wear tests
•Before starting any production, we run small lots to prepare
production processes at factories, and to detect any future
issues to be able to take action on time.
•Orion provides specs on materials and process.
Orion has a group of engineers & technicians with
experience in shoe process, leather, materials and shoe
components that contributes since the development up to
the delivery.
Production
By working as a team with the factories, starting from the
supply & production planning, we can fulfill our needs and
allows us to have great flexibility at every moment like:
•Move purchase orders forward
•Change size runs
•Adjust number of pairs
The Orion team has a constant presence in the factory
during production time. Our supervisors and quality
inspectors work at the factory every day to ensure quality
and timing in order to guarantee expected results and due
dates.
Materials Sourcing
Since we know that every step is critical to get the final
product on time, we maintain a constant supervision on the
main material suppliers to ensure quality on time deliveries.
•We developed our own ERP that enables us to follow
up on all the production process from the raw material
acquisition to the final product shipment and delivery.
•Due to our strong presence in the local industry we get benefits

Quality Control
Orion works with a Quality system that
has been developed over time, and is
in continuous improvement. We don’t
just do a quality check before shipping
the product; we have established
quality standards for all the processes
starting at material reception, and for
each one of the production processes
until final inspection and shipment.
These are some of the actions that we
regularly implement:
•Special quality control program to
ensure excellent quality on finished
goods.

Compliance
We have established shipment
procedures with two transport
companies to handle LTL or FCL
shipments. As a result, all of our
shipments leave on time, reducing
transit times and taking care of the
load.
Orion has experience with most of the
International Compliance Guidelines:
•Knowledge of customs operation
(especially NAFTA region)
•Customs agents are familiar with our
operation. Nine-day delivery time to
anywhere in the United States.
•Option to use “express” shipments
to minimize delivery times for urgent
orders.
•We have established security
procedures to make sure that the
shipment will travel safety until its
final destination.
•Social: All the factories that we
introduce to our clients are factories
that work under all the Mexican Laws.
•CTPAT: We use our standard CTPAT
