Nobles,
The Shrine Participation Awards Banquet is history by now and what a great night. I want to personally thank my
Chief Aide Gary Courtney for helping me put it all together. Thank you to all the Nobles & their Ladies for attending and
supporting this new event. I hope everyone enjoyed the evening and that we were able to start a new trend by giving back
to our Nobility. Congratulations to all the winners: the Crawford County Shrine Club, Zem Zem Legion of Honor, Zem
Zem Hornets, and the Zem Zem Fez Flyers.
Thank you to J.J. Johnston for getting everything ready to decorate the Shrine for the Holidays. I want to thank all those
who gave up their Saturday and helped with the decorating. I feel so fortunate to have such good friends who are always
there willing to help when something needs done.
The year is winding down fast and we hope to see some of you as we travel to the upcoming Christmas parties throughout the different counties. Kim and I wish all of you the best for the Holidays and remember to spend some extra time
with your family.
Your Divan is so committed to membership that we all took time to personally call each Noble who had not paid their
dues for 2014. We tried our best to convince them what we do to help the kids at Shriners Hospital for Children to continue to be a part of the greatest philanthropy in the world.
All the employees at Zem Zem work very hard each and every day to keep the Shrine running and get very little recognition for their efforts. As Potentate and a member of Zem Zem I would like to personally take this time to thank them all
for their continued dedication to our Shrine. If you see these employees around the Shrine please take a minute and say
thanks for what they do, it goes a long way.
It takes the efforts of everyone together to keep Zem Zem Shrine open and going forward for the future. It is my hope
that each of you will take a minute and think back to why you became a Mason and Shriner and please try to remember
that we are all different people but together we can truly “Help Make Kids Reach Their Dreams.”

NOTES FROM THE RECORDER…..
Also announced at the meeting was an I.R.S. audit that the club was
having for the years 2011-2012-2013. I am pleased to announce that
the audit is completed and a full report will be given at the Annual
meeting in January. Please note that the meeting is scheduled for
Saturday, January 24, 2015.
Nobles,
It’s that time of year to start thinking about year end gifts from the
clubs and units. The Divan is requesting that gifts be given to the
Building Fund and Nobles In Need Fund this year.
Just wanted to thank all of the Nobles that have mailed in their
2015 Shrine membership dues. This makes it a lot easier to
project dues income for the 2015 Shrine budget. All dues notices have been mailed to the last known address on file in the

CRAWFORD COUNTY SHRINE CLUB
Nobles,
First, I want to say that it was an honor to have served as your 2014 president and
I thank all Crawford Country Shrine Club officers and members for your support
throughout the year. All of your hard work and participation paid off because at
the 1st annual Shrine Awards Dinner, C.C.S.C. was awarded “Club of the Year!”
So give yourselves a pat on the back because you made that happen! I truly hope
the momentum continues throughout the upcoming year.
The 2015 officers are in place, and I am honored to continue as president in
2015. I am also happy to announce that the offices of 1st and 2nd VP are filled.
A big thanks to Lud Zarembinski (p pres.) and John Nagurney for stepping up
and taking those slots. The offices of secretary and treasurer remain under the
very capable hands of Charlie Lake (p pres.) and Ron Stoyer (p pres.) respectfully. I thank them both for continuing in those positions, as we all know the
amount of time and work those offices demand.
The 2015 schedule is in place and can be viewed by going to the Zem Zem web
site and selecting “Calendar” from the main menu. For those without internet
access, here is the 2015 C.C.S.C. schedule of events…

Nobles & Ladies,
The Holiday Season is fast approaching. In the calendar book
there is scheduled a Shrine Christmas Party on December 20th. We all
know what a busy time of year this is and that we all incur added expenses associated with Christmas. Due to the declining number of members
attending the Christmas Party last year and the fact that we have the
chance to rent the Ball Room on the 20th I have decided to not have a
Shrine Christmas Party. If you check out the December calendar you will
see the month is full of Club & Unit installations, Christmas Parties and
meetings. A lot of us will be attending most of these events and we hope
to see you there. I hope you will understand why I made this decision
and hope you can see by not having the event it will free up some extra
time for us to spend with our families and help us receive income for the
Shrine. As always I want to thank you for your continued support and all
that you do for Zem Zem Shrine and for the Shriners Hospital in Erie.
