Brothers & Sisters in Christ...
Merry Christmas! The day we have been waiting for has
arrived. We see The Word in the Flesh. The baby in the manger is
our Lord and Savior. “O come let us adore Him, O come let us
adore Him, O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!” Enjoy
this time with your family and friends and know that Christ
wants you to know that He loves you and that He will always be
with you if you let Him stay in your heart.
Please note that the parish office will be closed the rest of the
week and that there will be no Mass on Friday. I will be around
for emergency situations on Friday, but also will be spending
time with my family.
We will be celebrating the Christmas season until the Baptism
of the Lord on January 11 so keep your enthusiasm on high and
reflect deeply on God becoming man. How can we doubt His
love for us with this truth of our Catholic faith? Rejoice, Rejoice,
Rejoice! Jesus Christ is born!
Thank you for your great charity to me as your Pastor! God
Bless!!!
Fr. Chris
A Christmas Prayer for Families
When the song of the angels is stilled, when the star in the sky is gone,
when the kings and princes are home, when the shepherds are back with the flocks,
then the work of Christmas begins:
To find the lost, to heal those broken in spirit,
To feed the hungry, to release the oppressed,
To rebuild the nations, to bring peace among all peoples,
To make music with the heart…And to radiate the Light of Christ, every day, in every way, in all that
we do and in all that we say. Then the work of Christmas begins. We ask this through Jesus Christ,
the Prince of Peace. Hail Mary…

faith event saying, “That was really amazing”? When
Christmas Meal
Prayer For Families
God of all gifts, we
thank you for the
many ways you bless
us. We are grateful
for each of those who
are gathered around this table. We ask
you to bless those we love who are not
with us today. In our gratitude, we remember your humble birth into our
lives and pray for those who are without
enough to eat. We remember the stable in which your Son Jesus, the Prince
of Peace was born, and we pray for
those who have no place to live. We remember your challenging message of
caring and giving and we pray for peace
in our families and nations throughout
the world. We give you thanks this day
and always. May the true spirit and gift
of Christmas ring in our hearts forever.
Bless us O Lord…
you felt something really move you? Please come join
us at the Ignite event with a warm, uplifting evening of
word, prayer and song in the presence of Jesus Christ.
Come with family and friends to IGNITE and bring your

the Burning Bush, which will illuminate Jesus in
Exposition. Come experience his Presence. This event
will be held here at Sacred Heart of Jesus on
Wednesday, February 11th at 7:00 pm. We will begin
in the Parish Hall and proceed to the church from there.
We hope you can join us.
