Entry: Competitors & Coaches free. Spectators/non-swimmers $3.20, under 2yo free.
Gates will open 7.00am (set-up access available Friday afternoon from 4pm)
Time: Warm Up Commences 7.30am – Competition Commences 8.30am SHARP
***8.30am – 11.30am 25m pool Lanes 1 & 2 available for swim down
***11.30am onwards 25m pool Lanes 1, 2 & 3 available
Nomination Fee: $5 per event for TM File $6.00 Manual Entries.
Entries will not be accepted on the day. Nominations can be submitted via TM electronically
together with Entry Report and Entry Fee Report, email to [email protected]. Hard copy of
reports to accompany payment. Cheque payable to PWCSC and forwarded to: Race Secretary
PWCSC, PO Box 162, Caloundra 4551. Direct debit (see page 3 for details)
Nominations are accepted on the understanding that the nominating club has the responsibility to ensure
that all competitors are registered with SQ, date of birth is correct & times entered are current.
Closing Date: Friday 20th December 6pm
Incomplete or late entries will not be accepted. All payment must be received 3 days prior to meet
Age: Age as at Saturday 10th January 2015
Eligibility: All swimmers must be registered with Swimming Queensland and entries submitted via
the Club Secretary.
Events: 8 to 15yrs, 16 & Over. This is a “B” Qualifying Meet. No junior rule tolerances will apply to
swimmers (as per SQ Competition Framework for Meets). All SQ General Rules apply.
Timing: Semi-Automatic / Three Time Keepers per Lane.
Awards: Age Champion Awards will be presented for each age group based on the highest points
for all strokes. 1st - 6 points, 2nd - 3 points, 3rd- 1 point. In case of a draw, the highest placed
swimmer in freestyle will be Age Champion. Swimmers must compete in all (4) strokes to be eligible.
Medals will be awarded for the first 3 place getters in each EVENT from 8yrs to 15yrs, 16 & over.
Dash for Cash: Top 8 times for breaststroke, butterfly and backstroke on the day to qualify. No
nominations required for these events. 1st place: $50; 2nd place: $30; 3rd place: $20
Multi Class Events: Will be held as open age. Gender race will be combined if required and awards
will be presented in accordance with Swimming Australia requirements.
Food & Stalls: BBQ, sweet treats, and pool kiosk, coffee, slushies & various market stalls available
Lucky lanes, amazing raffle prizes & programs available.
