CALL FOR SPEAKERS
2015 IABC Southern Region Conference
Submission Deadline: February 20, 2015
As host of the 2015 IABC Southern Region Conference, IABC Colorado
is looking for presenters who can help us take the event to new heights.
If you are a dynamic, engaging presenter with novel content of great
interest to communication practitioners, we invite you to submit a
proposal. We’ll gather October 15-17, 2015, in the Mile High City of
Denver for a series of fresh, interactive sessions designed to help the
more than 200 conference attendees reach the peak of performance.
Audience
We expect 200+ communicators to attend from across the southern United States and Caribbean. While the bulk of
participants will be IABC members, other communication practitioners from Colorado and surrounding states,
university faculty and students also will be there. Conference attendees will hail from a variety of industries and
settings, including corporate, academic, not-for-profit and small businesses. The audience will represent all stages of
experience, with past regional conferences drawing sizeable participation by senior level communicators with 16 or
more years in the field.

Presenters have the option of several session formats. What’s most important is that your audience is engaged,
energized and amazed.
Single Presenter
One hour
Presentation with ample time allotted for audience discussion and engagement
Presenter Duo
One hour
Shared presentation with time set aside for audience discussion and engagement
Three-Person Panel
One hour
Brief opening remarks followed by audience questions and engagement
Workshop
One hour
Interactive, practical hands-on learning session
Spark Session
20 minutes
No more than 10 slides in 10 minutes around one big or offbeat idea, coupled with
audience discussion or exercise

IABC does not compensate for speaker fees, travel, accommodation or expenses.
All selected speakers will receive a complimentary registration to the conference in appreciation for participation.
