Welcome 2015!
Vol. 23, Issue 11| December 2014
Last year at this time, we were still talking
about our dream of having a home for the
VFAA. That dream has been realized in the
form of the SHAC - Suzanne Haskew Arts
Center. This year we’ll hold our Holiday
Party at the SHAC! Just one of many great
events during the SHAC’s first year. You
can learn more about the SHAC and all
of the activites, events and classes going
on there at vfaa/shac.org or visit The
Suzanne Haskew Arts Center, The SHAC
on Facebook - or, even better, stop by and
visit the SHAC at 125 South Main Street,
Suite 700, Milford, Michigan.
Next Meeting: Wednesday, January 28

another exciting line up of Guest Speakers

2014 Views and Visions
Once again, this was the BEST Art and All That Jazz celebration ever! Our judge, Todd
Burroughs joined us and kindly shared his thoughts and reactions to the wonderful
selection of art on display with encouraging comments for each of the award
winners. Gary Weisenburg & Company entertained, we enjoyed good food and drink,
a wonderful selection of art and the company of good friends at a delightful venue. If
you missed the Opening, hopefully you found time to stop into the The HVCA during
the month of November to see the show and cast your vote for the People’s Choice
Awards.
This year’s People’s Choice Award winners all are double award winners.
