How to book your holiday
Booking direct is the easy way to book the holiday of your choice. Most
bookings are made by telephone and with Blue Riband your call will be answered
personally. For direct bookings call Don on 01493 730445 or Peter on 01493
732943 (depending on your choice of accommodation). You may call any day
of the week, including weekends, between 9am and 9pm. Please confirm your
booking within five days with a deposit payment (provisional bookings made by
telephone are normally held for five days).
How to pay: BOOKING DEPOSIT is £45 plus £5 or £10 for your cancellation
plan payment, making the initial payment £50 or £55 per week. For hire charges
up to £260 the Cancellation charge is £5 per week, for hire charges above
this amount the charge is £10 per week booked. A booking confirmation
will be forwarded. Balance of holiday money is payable a minimum of 42
clear days before your holiday begins, we do not send out a reminder.

Payments by Debit/Credit cards
Deposits, balances and full amount payments can be made using a credit/
debit card. However when making a booking using a card this must be
followed by a completed and signed booking form (if you haven’t got
a booking form we will send one with your booking confirmation). When
using a credit card a 2% charge will be added to the amount paid. If a debit
card is used there is no extra charge.
Making payments by instalments:
For a charge of just £5 per week booked you may pay for your holiday in
instalments. If you choose this option please add the £5 per week payment
to your first instalment. This is the only charge for this service and a
confirmation will be sent after each instalment. You can pay as much as you
wish, however the minimum amount is £50.

you to contact us DURING your holiday rather than
writing to us after returning home, when we will be
unable to help you.

V.A.T. is included in our prices where applicable, the rate at time of going to print is 20%.
Should the rate alter between time of booking and date of your holiday the price will be

This price list covers the accommodation featured in our colour brochure, all the accommodation is in the Great Yarmouth district. We have a large selection of bungalows,
cottages and chalets, all self-catering. The bungalows and cottages are quietly situated; the chalets are mainly on organised parks with Cabaret Clubs etc. Please choose carefully
the accommodation to suit your requirements at the time of booking; it is not possible to change your accommodation on the day of arrival. Weekly or longer bookings normally
start and finish on a Saturday, it is sometimes possible to arrange different start and finish dates, this is usually in early or late season.

Super Value Short-breaks during June & July
Subject to availability we offer Saturday - Tuesday, Tuesday - Saturday or
Friday - Monday, Monday - Friday. These breaks are supplied at: Belle
Aire Park, Hemsby (pages 4 & 5 in our brochure). Prices shown are for 2
bedroom chalets. 3 bedroom chalet accommodation sometimes available,
prices on request.
Prices:- on breaks taken between May 30 and June 13 the charge is
£115. For breaks taken between June 13 and June 27 the charge is
£130. For breaks taken between June 27 and July 18 the charge is
£145. Prices are for four persons, extra person £10 per person (where
possible) including your linen.
Discounts & low Season Specials 2015
£10 discount for two persons only during the low season and Winter periods
Available in our bungalows at Caister, brochure pages 6, 7 & 11, also pages 12 & 13 other bungalows in Hemsby Parklands Holiday Centre,
Hemsby Village pages 8, 9 & 10. This discount is available on full week bookings from Saturday October 3rd through to Saturday May 23rd excluding
Easter, October half-term, Christmas and New Year holidays. (includes free night store heating between Oct 17 and April 18).
Super Value Low Season breaks with free night store heating, short-breaks £120
for up to four persons (extra persons £10 each), for weekly charges see price panel
Take a low season break in one of our superb bungalows, you will always arrive to a nice warm welcome because night store heating is included in the
price of holidays taken between October 17th through to April 18th, applies to full week or short-stay holidays, this would normally cost £12 - £18.
Short-breaks available from October 3rd through to May 16th subject to availability (excl. Christmas, New Year, Easter, May-Day or Oct
Half-term holidays) Outside of the above dates the cost of night store heating is:- two heaters £12, three heaters £15, four heaters £18.

Christmas & New Year at Belle Aire (pages 4 & 5)
Are there just two persons in your party? Do you feel your price should
be less than for a family? With this super discount it will be. For just two
persons on holidays taken between July 4th and August 29th there will be
a £20 discount (full week bookings only) Applies to our holiday homes
at Sea-Dell and Belle Aire (brochure pages 3, 4 & 5).
Available as a full or part week break or you can combine the two if you
so wish. For dates and prices for full week bookings see main price panel.
Short-break price over Christmas or New Year £150 (Bure only). You can
also book christmas week and extend your holiday to Jan 2nd to take in
the New Year, 3/4 nights £270.
Extra nights:
Bed linen: In our bungalows pages 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13, you
will need to bring or hire bed linen. Duvet covers are provided you will
just need top and bottom sheets & pillow cases.
Subject to availability it is sometimes possible to
extend your break with extra days (either before or after your holiday
dates). Where possible the cost is £25 per night in a chalet or £30 per
night in one of the bungalows.

In our chalet accommodation at Sea-Dell and Belle Aire, bed linen
is provided in with the cost of your holiday. A duvet cover, bottom
sheet and pillow cases will be provided for each bed being used (up to 4
persons in two bedroom or 5 persons in three bedroom). A hire service
form will be enclosed with a booking receipt for hire of any extra linen,
cots, pushchairs etc.

Our bargain short-break holidays are from £90 and are for up to four persons (extra persons £10).

Blue Riband Cancellation Plan
Once a booking has been made a legal contract exists which makes
you liable for the full cost of the accommodation regardless of the
reason for your cancellation, this is only fair to the owners of the
accommodation. Blue Riband Holidays operate a very good value
Cancellation Plan at a cost of only £5 or £10 per week booked. This
will relieve you of some of the worry if you have to cancel for one of
the these qualifying reasons: illness, injury death or maternity, or
illness of any member of your party. The death, serious injury
or illness of a close relative. No refunds can be considered
without a full medical certificate, applies to all cases. Please
note: illness to a pet is not covered by the scheme.
Charges for the Cancellation Plan
For Hire charges up to £260 the charge is £5 per week booked,
for Hire charges above £260 the charge is £10 per week booked.
The deposit or initial charge is £45 per week booked, the appropriate
Cancellation Plan Charge must be added making your initial payment
£50 or £55 per week booked depending on the hire charge.
The cancellation plan terminates seven days before your
holiday is due to commence. If you have to cancel for one of the
qualifying reasons up to that date you will receive a full refund of
your holiday money less the deposit and Cancellation Plan payment
which are not refundable. Once we get into the 7 day period before
your holiday, refunds are dependant on the accommodation being
re-let. It is to your advantage to give us the earliest possible warning
of a cancellation to enable us to try and re-let the accommodation.
Tell us firstly by telephone but this must be backed up by a first class
letter or in an email.
Cancellation Plan cover is a requirement for every booking, the
only exception is if you have your own holiday insurance cover which
must equal or exceed the cover offered in our Cancellation Plan. We
must see a copy of the policy. If your reason for cancelling is not
covered by the plan we will do our best to re-let the accommodation,
if successful we will be able to make a refund. If for any reason a
booking is made without cancellation cover no refunds can be made.
Please note this is a Cancellation Plan and does not cover
curtailment of a holiday. All information is correct at time
of printing.

Conditions of Hire
1.TERMS. All terms are per week (unless your booking is for one of our
short-stay holidays) and is for the accommodation as equipped and described
in the brochure information. The take-over time is 2pm unless stated differently
on your final receipt. (subject to unavoidable delays). You must leave the
accommodation by 10am and you are expected to leave everything clean
and tidy. You will be held responsible to make good or pay for any damage
to the accommodation, fittings, utensils etc. If accommodation is left in an
unsatisfactory condition we reserve the right to refuse a further holiday.
2. We ask you not to arrive before the time stated on your final
receipt. If you do take over the accommodation before the normal time
without checking with us first Blue Riband cannot be held responsible for
the condition of your accommodation, it is therefore in your own interest
not to arrive before the stated time.
3. Booking Contract. Once a booking has been made the deposit paid
is for that holiday only and a confirmation receipt will be issued for that
booking. Deposits are none-refundable if a change cannot be avoided only
50% of the deposit can be transferred to the new booking date or location.
However if a two week booking is shortened to just one week the deposit
for the cancelled week is not transferable to the one week remaining.
4. All persons in your party must be entered on the booking form and
details of pets you wish to bring. Blue Riband Holidays reserve the right to
refuse persons or pets not entered on booking form.
5. Blue Riband holidays GUARANTEE the price of your holiday at the time
of booking, there will be no surcharges added. The only exception would be
due to a change in the rate of VALUE ADDED TAX which is included in all
our prices where applicable. The price would be adjusted to the rate
applicable at the time of your holiday.
6. Wheelchair/Disabled Persons. Most of the locations and holiday
accommodation featured in our brochure are unsuitable for holidaymakers
with mobility difficulties. If your party includes people with special needs,
please discuss these special needs fully with Blue Riband Holidays before
making your booking. Will there be someone competent to attend to them
during their holiday?
7. We regret that bookings from groups of either young women or young
men cannot be accepted.
8. Should the accommodation required not be available when the deposit
and booking forms are received, we will endeavour to offer an alternative
choice, should this not be acceptable the deposit will be refunded in full.
9.AVAILABILITY The booking is made on the understanding that the
accommodation will be placed at your disposal on the date stated. Should
this not be possible, through circumstances not under the control of the
owner, (e.g. fire theft or damage) we cannot guarantee to provide an
alternative property, in which case all monies paid shall be refunded in
full, but the hirer shall have no further claim against Blue Riband Holidays.
Blue Riband Holidays endevour to ensure the availability of amenities in its
brochure, but shall not be liable in respect of their non-availability.
10.Blue Riband Holidays shall not be liable for the death of, or injury to any
person on holiday, in or visiting Blue Riband accommodation, or for any loss
of or damage to the property of any such person, howsoever any such death,
injury, loss or damage may be caused.
11.We always try our best to ensure you will have a peaceful holiday,
however Blue Riband Holidays shall not be held responsible for any noise or
disturbance from a neighbouring or adjoining property which is not under
the direct control of Blue Riband Holidays.
12.Unreasonable behaviour: Blue Riband Holidays will not allow antisocial behaviour to compromise the enjoyment of other holidaymakers in
adjoining or nearby holiday homes. Loud music, barking dogs left unattended
or unacceptable noise levels especially late at night. If bad behaviour persists
you may be asked to leave the park by the management of that park.
13.Area maps shown in the brochure are not drawn to scale and are
intended only as a guide to help you choose your accommodation.
14.Smoking: All our accommodation are non-smoking units. Most
persons who smoke are very reasonable and smoke outside. We have had
accommodation refused following occupation by a heavy smoker.
15.Travelling to your holiday destination is the responsibility of the hirer.
Blue Riband Holidays are not responsible for any problems you may have with
travel arrangements. ie weather conditions, fuel problems, vehicle breakdown
etc. Monies paid cannot be refunded or transferred to another date or holiday.
