Centre for Reproductive Education & Specialist Training (CREST) CREST is the first specialised training centre in Asia Pacific for Assisted Reproductive Techniques of its kind, to enhance the skills of clinicians, embryologists, nurses and administrators from around the region. Located at the National University Hospital, Singapore (NUH) and founded by Professor PC Wong, Head of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, CREST offers a unique combination of theory and practical hands-on learning opportunities within its purpose-built training site at NUH. Four state-of-the-art laboratories showcasing the latest equipment for effective ART procedures, together with a low student-teacher ratio, both maximise and encourage learning and growth opportunities. An overview of the ART Course for Clinicians The 2-week course covers all aspects of an IVF cycle, from pretreatment evaluation and testing, through the entire treatment path, and into planning for future cycles. It also explores the ethical issues in treatment and quality control of the lab procedures. Offering each trainee a complete hands-on learning opportunity, the classes are conducted in the training laboratories equipped with an integrated murine system and the latest equipment for effective ART procedures.
