About OECD iLibrary
O
ECD Publishing is responsible for disseminating the data and analysis of the OECD (Organisation for
Economic Co-operation and Development) whose mission is to promote policies that will improve the
economic and social well-being of people around the world.
OECD iLibrary is the global knowledge base containing all OECD books and papers mostly published since 1998 –
as well as a vast collection of statistics, covering more than 80 countries. Some datasets have figures going back to
when the OECD started in the early 1960s, and an important digitization project means that several key periodical
series are available in their entirety. As one of the most comprehensive online resources on the world economy,
society, education and environment, OECD iLibrary is a powerful research tool for people working at academic
institutions, in the private sector and at governmental or non-governmental organisations.
Users can search and directly access chapters, articles, books, tables and databases. These content items are
available in different formats – PDF, XLS, Web (HTML), DATA, READ, ePUB) – and languages.
OECD iLibrary is a subscription service for institutions providing convenient access to their users via
IP-authentication. Available as a complete collection, or by subject theme, or individual journal and statistical
database, subscriptions are either for “Online”, or “Online and Print”. “Online” includes access to the current issue and
the archive of previous editions. New for 2015, the archive CD-Roms for the statistical databases will be replaced by
an online archive. “Online and Print” includes a copy of every print publication that is published during the subscribed
period.
About The Commonwealth iLibrary
The publications of The Commonwealth are now available online in a single research repository built on the same
platform as OECD iLibrary – www.thecommonwealth-ilibrary.org. The Commonwealth is one of the world’s oldest
political association of states and publishes around 30 new books per year on different topics such as agriculture and
food, development, economics, education, finance and investment, governance, industry and services, social issues
migration and health, taxation and trade.
OECD Journals and Statistical Periodicals
T
he Price List 2015 includes a number of OECD Statistical annuals. Each one is available with ready-made
tables and in a range of formats.
The benefits of subscribing to a statistical publication:

Tables available and downloadable in a range of formats: PDF, XLS and Web (HTML).
•
Subscription price is the same as the print, yet includes online access.
•
Every publication is divided into chapters and tables, all individually indexed and referenced by country or
variable(up to 300 objects per publication).
•
Online access to all back issues available online.
•
Perpetual access, even after subscription expiry.
•
Institution-wide online access via IP-authentication and/or username/password.
•
Automatic notification when renewal is due.
•
Print copy despatched (if subscribed to ‘Online and Print’) immediately upon publication release.
•
Save space and money by subscribing to the ‘Online only’ version.

n addition to the interactive database edition (DATA), a subscription to an OECD Statistical Package includes
the corresponding periodical, available as ready-made tables in three formats – PDF, XLS and Web (HTML).
By providing access to all available versions, the “mini” statistics packages simplify and enrich the user-experience,
whilst also keeping administrative costs to a minimum. For example, a single annual subscription now covers all
OECD National Accounts publications.
“Online” includes access to the current issue and the archive of previous editions. New for 2015 the archive CD-Roms
of the statistical databases will be replaced by an archive edition accessible online. “Online and Print” includes a copy
of every print publication that is published during the subscribed period.

OECD iLibrary Packages
A
subscription to OECD iLibrary Packages groups together publications by their product type.
OECD Statistics provides online access to all OECD’s published data, irrespective of format. It includes the dynamic
interactive databases, as well as the statistical annuals and periodicals in PDF format, and their related tables in XLS,
PDF and HTML. IEA Statistics are not included in this package (see below).
OECD Books and Papers covers all OECD’s published (ISBN/ISSN) monographs, journals, statistical annuals and
periodicals available online in 17 subject themes. The main texts are accessed as PDFs, whilst related tables are in
XLS, PDF or HTML.
OECD Books, Papers and Statistics includes all the above – everything published by OECD.
The options for subscribing to OECD content are either “Online” or “Online and Print”. “Online” includes access to the
current issue and the archive of previous editions. New for 2015 the archive CD-Roms of the statistical databases will
be replaced by an archive edition accessible online. “Online and Print” includes a copy of every print publication that
is published during the subscribed period.
IEA Statistics are available separately due to the highly-focused nature of the content. A subscription to the
interactive energy databases is only “Online” – print is not an option. This package includes online access to all IEA
statistical databases.
The Commonwealth iLibrary is a new product for 2015. At launch in September 2014 the catalogue contains more
than 2 200 items including 171 books, 1907 chapters and 125 working papers. The back catalogue of 700 titles will be
digitized and added to the collection in the coming months. This product is not included in OECD iLibrary packages.
