Beatles tribute show returns to OCP OMAHA – Billy McGuigan, his brothers Ryan and Matthew, and a backing band of local musicians are back with their tribute to the Beatles at the Omaha Community Playhouse, 6915 Cass St., Omaha. “Yesterday and Today,” an interactive Beatles experience, runs Friday through Dec. 31. The performers play all Beatles music, take audience requests and interact with the audience – so no two shows are the same. The brothers started the show as a tribute to their late father who loved The Beatles and introduced his children to the band. The McGuigan brothers now tour the country with “Yesterday and Today” to create the ultimate living tribute to their father. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. There are two performances on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31. The 7 p.m. show is $50 per person, and the 10 p.m. performance is $75 per person. (No group discounts on New Year’s Eve) The New Year’s Eve shows include complimentary champagne punch and cake prior to each performance with a champagne toast at midnight. Aspen Santa Fe returns with ‘Nutcracker’ OMAHA – The critically acclaimed Aspen Santa Fe Ballet returns to the Orpheum Theater for a third year in a row to present “The Nutcracker” this weekend.
