ABOUT ME
Passionate about software engineering and the legal aspects of
computing. Planning to pursue a career related to the field of
intellectual property, specifically patent prosecution. Supporter
of open source culture, and interested in learning more about
cyberlaw. Other interests include web development, design,
and hackathons.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Tech Launch Arizona | Innovation Fellow
Tucson, Arizona, October 2014 - present
Selected as one of four innovation fellows to work with a local
startup in the Tucson area (Acomni) on issues of intellectual
property and licensing. Conducted research during the fall
semester and presented a commercialization plan to the Tech
Launch Arizona Vice President and license managers. Will enact
this plan during the following semester and display findings at
the Spring 2015 Student Technology Showcase.
Hydrant Development | Web Design Intern
Tucson, Arizona, September 2014 - November 2014
Worked in website design and content management, utilizing
Bootstrap and the WordPress framework. Gained further
experience with HTML/CSS, as well as Adobe Photoshop,
Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Dreamweaver.
Epic Web Solutions | Web Development Intern
Tucson, Arizona, June 2013 - August 2014
Managed the websites of companies from a diverse span of
industries, including members of the Inc500. Gained exposure
to design, development, and SEO tools such as Adobe Creative
Suite, Bootstrap, Content Management Systems, AdWords, and
AdSense. Learned basic HTML/CSS.

Hack Arizona | Community and Legal Director

As one of the founding members of the first major collegiate
hackathon in the state of Arizona, I was placed in charge of
MLH (Major League Hacking) relations and community
integration, as well as legal matters including registration,
waivers, trademark (filing for name and logo trademark will
occur in March), and IP.
InnovateUA | Technical Director
Tucson, Arizona, September 2014 - November 2014
Helped launch the InnovateUA website and worked with team
members to push the 1000 Pitches campaign, a idea-pitching
competition between six national universities.
Residence Hall Association | Hall Involvement Team
Tucson, Arizona, August 2014
Helped fellow residents move into the honor hall by assisting
families with the check-in process for multiple dorms and
residence buildings across campus. Underwent several days of
RHA training.
Hackers@Arizona | Founder and President
Tucson, Arizona, December 2014 - present
Worked with fellow Hack Arizona organizers to charter a club
with the purpose of holding monthly coding workshop
meetings on topics such as design, web development, GitHub,
etc. Relaunched branding and organization in December.
Patent Law Association | Founder and Co-President
Tucson, Arizona, January 2015 - present
Recently founded an organization to spread awareness of
alternate career paths for engineers, e.g. consulting and patent
law. Currently in the initial stages of finding officers and working
with faculty to throw an educational seminar for undergraduate
engineering majors.
