About the Institution
JRS Educational Trust is a lap child of Sri Amit
Baran Pramanick, Sri Anil Paul and Sri Asit Baran
Pramanick, set in the sylvan atmosphere of Uttar
Panchpota of Chakdaha Block under Rowtari Gram
Panchayat in Kalyani sub-division of Nadia District. It
is on NH 34, about 21/2 kms from Chakdaha Railway
1
Station and 1 /2 km from Palpara Railway Station, well
connected with bus, train, rickshaw and other private
conveyances.
The College was established in 2006 with a zeal to
spread education and impart holistic education to
global citizens. It has been the dream-come-true
project of Sri Paul and Pramanick brothers, who have
realized the need for education in rendering the
remote, under-priviledged area of Uttar Panchpota a
name and fame. Thus JRSET College of Education, a
self-financed instution started with the B.Ed.
Department in 2008 and later from 2009 we have seen
her transcendence into an educational hub, housing
the JRSET College of Law, Chakdaha Vidyasagar
Primary Teachers' Training College, JRSET Private
Industrial Training College, St. Xavier's Institute and
JRSET D.El.Ed. College on the sprawling 10 acres
lush green land. Green playground, flower beds,
pollution-free environment add charm and grace to
her ambience and so offer an eco-friendly campus.
Our founder members and patrons of education
untiringly strive to build a society of enlightened
youth who aspire for intellectual and spiritual
excellence. This educational hub also provides
employment to many.
The College is recognized by NCTE and affiliated to
University of Kalyani, Nadia. Her forte lies in the
technologically aided education that she provides her
students with. In keeping pace with modern vision of
education, she has adopted very recent methods and
pedagogy, strengthening the students' relentless
energies and faculties, fostering in them critical and
rational thinking by providing a platform for free
exchange of views and opinions. To nurture the
intellectual ardor, we are going to organize an
International Seminar on “Different Perspectives of
Education in Modern Society” on February 21 &
22, 2015 at our campus.
JRSET College of Education and its allies extend a
very warm and hearty invitation to you to be a part of
this mountainous venture on the scheduled date, time
and place. According to the eminent and distinguished
educationists, education has different aspects which
ultimately develop the child to its all round destiny. To
promote education to its fullest extent, we endeavor
such seminar at international level to discuss and
exchange views, ideas and experiences with various
experts, teachers, research scholars and students from
different streams in the field of education. We shall be
honored for your ceremonial presence in this humble
arrangement at our place.

Original unpublished full length papers are invited on
any of the sub-themes or related to the main theme
either in English or in Bengali to be published in our
ISSN journal, ‘Journal for Educational Research
Perspectives’. Participants and presenters are
requested to submit their Abstract through e-mail
within 250 words and a soft copy of full paper within
3000 to 5000 words along with a hard copy on or
before 31st January and 10th February respectively
