All CSA teams in the U8 and older age groups are eligible to play in this annual fun event. This year we have added a U10 Rec+ division. The deadline to enter this year's tournament has been extended to Sunday, September 24th. Registration information is in your coach’s packet. PICTURE DISTRIBUTION Team pictures will be handed out to the coaches and team parents on October 7th. The cost of the pictures is included in your registration fees. Those players who are registered for the spring portion of the season should be sure to keep their shirts in a place they can remember, as it will be used next spring! LCCC Kids Day Come and support your local LCCC soccer team on Sunday, October 1st at 12 noon. The first 200 kids receive a free gift. Free Soccer Clinic LCCC men and women soccer players will be conducting a free clinic for all CSA players on Thursday, September 28th from 5:00 – 6:30pm at North Park. COACHES CORNER We hope all coaches and players have had a chance to participate in the free clinics offered by CSA and coordinated by Liam Sinclair, our club coach. To further expand your knowledge, all coaches are encouraged to participate in an “E” license clinic to be offered in cooperation with the Wyoming State Soccer Association (WSSA). It is tentatively scheduled locally for December 9 and 10. The CSA and WSSA website will list more information as it becomes available. Additional courses are offered in Colorado in November and February. Information can be found at csysa.org. EXPERIENCE SOCCER AT A HIGHER LEVEL! LCCC is offering CSA coaches a chance to learn during the men’s game on Sunday, October 1st. Meet at scorer’s table prior to the game. Contact Juston Taylor at 778-2882 for more information. Free Goalie Basics Clinic CSA is offering goalie basics clinics this coming week for U12 and U14 and above at North Park. U12 – Tuesday, Sept 26th 6pm – 7pm U14 and up – Thursday, Sept 28th 6pm-7pm Limit two people per team. Please contact CSA at 6354625 or email at [email protected] if you plan on sending a goalie(s). REFEREE CLINIC A grade 8 referee clinic is slated for Jan 5th, 6th and 7th in Cheyenne. Youth age 12 or older and adults are encouraged to attend. Please stop by the lost and found areas at the North Park Storage Shed and Cahill Snack Shack. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of this season. Concessions The concession stands this fall are being run by the youth group from the Cheyenne Evangelical Free Church. They are doing a great job and have many items available. Please be sure to stop by and have coffee and a doughnut or other food and beverages. They are running the concession stands as a fundraiser. THANK YOU, COACHES!!!
