ltra-thin and cast from our versatile B20
Bronze, the TRX DRK Series is known for its
dark, earthy, old-school sound. In addition to its
balanced blend of depth and warmth, the line’s
classic tonal tendencies are further enhanced by
deep hammering and a distinctive natural finish.
DRK cymbals now also come with a series of small
holes near the outer edge to accommodate TRX’s
exclusive, two-piece “Removable Rivets” as well
as other sound modifiers.
Medium weight with traditional lathing and
New TRX Blends are a “mash-up” of our MDM
hammering, the TRX MDM Series is an all-purpose
line developed to meet a diversity of musical
needs. The newly expanded MDM line includes
a wide range of Rides, Crashes, Crash-Rides and
Hi-hats as well as odd and even-size Splashes
and Chinas— offering exceptional sound and
performance as well as a full selection of models.

unlathed playing surface, the TRX BRT Series
has a focused, high-frequency spectrum and a
powerful, intense sound. However, along with its
increased presence and projection in high-volume
drumming situations, the BRT Series is also

nother TRX exclusive, Thunder and Lightning Crashes, Splashes and Chinas
feature an asymmetrical hole pattern that gives the cymbals a completely
unique sound quality. The rumbling Thunder and glassy Lightning provide
a dramatic contrast to conventional cymbals and can be used as effects,
crashes, secondary crash-rides or as the top or bottom of stacks in many
genres of contemporary music.

consists of 14˝, 16˝, 18˝ and 20˝ vented, multipurpose “Stackers” (shown above), 13˝, 14˝, 15˝
and 16˝ models of our trashy yet articulate DRKBRT cross-matched Hi-Hats, the 14˝ Storm Hi-Hat

types of finishing processes in three different
areas of the cymbal: a natural bell, lathed and
hammered face and highly-polished edge. This
triple-zone design provides an extraordinary
combination of articulation and detonation that’s

HI-HATS
A
new class of premium-quality cymbals, the
NRG Series has been developed for today’s
progressive, hardcore and metal drummers. Their
extra-heavy weight, extreme profile and taper,
special lathing and hammering, and unlathed,
brilliant bell gives NRG cymbals a bright, powerful,
high-energy sound that’s recommended on stage
and in the studio.
Heavyweight
and BRT Series. They feature a medium-weight,
lathed (MDM) outer area combined with a heavier,
polished (BRT) middle section and bell. This give
the cymbals a unique combination of warmth,
brightness, sustain and power that’s perfect for
many modern musical styles, from hard rock and
Latin to R&B and Gospel. Available in a wide
selection of types and sizes.
LTD
new type of general-purpose cymbal for a
new generation of drummers, the ALT Series
is designed and handcrafted to offer today’s
drummers an all-around alternative for today’s
more aggressive modern and mainstream styles.
TRX ALT cymbals incorporate heavier castings, a
raw bell and a micro-lathed playing surface for
a brighter, more powerful sound with increased
focus and a fast response.
