SENIOR HIGH KNOWLEDGE BOWL: Please get your signed forms in before our first meet on Thursday,
January 8.
FOUND: A cell phone was found between the Maslowski Center and the MS/HS last week during vacation.
Identify in the office if you have lost a phone.
SENIOR CLASS MEETING: Class Meeting, Friday, Feb. 20th @ 11:20am
2015 TWINS CARAVAN is coming to WDC Middle/High School gym on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 10:15 a.m.! K-12
students will be attending this event. More details will be made available soon, but get your Twins gear out and
get ready to cheer for the Minnesota Twins that day.

WDC students are encouraged to check out Sunday Open Gym, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the WDC Middle/High
School Gym this winter. Come and stretch your legs on the walking/running track, shoot some hoops and hang
out with friends and family! Free of charge. Courts are supervised; sign in when you arrive. Sunday Open Gym
is sponsored by Wadena-Deer Creek-Bluffton Community Education.
TYLER LANGER FUNDRAISER
Tyler Langer, a former graduate of WDC, was in an accident on December 13, 2014. There is a fundraiser set
up to show your support for his recovery.
To place an order for a t-shirt (cost is $10) please sign up and pay for it by this Friday (January 9th). See Mrs.

ATTENTION JUNIORS & SOPHOMORES:
Juniors: Please start signing up on the appointment request calendar in the office to get your initial meeting
with Mr. Sams scheduled. All Juniors need to meet with him prior to the end of January. Appointments are
available Wednesdays and Fridays starting at 7:30 a.m. and goes through 3:00 p.m. and will take approximately 30 minutes.
SOPHOMORES: You'll need to meet with Mr. Sams prior to the end of February. Please start scheduling your
appointments as soon as possible.

RECYCLING PICK UP:
2nd Floor Tuesdays after 2:30 p.m.
1st Floor Thursdays after 2:30 p.m.
PLACE YOUR RECYCLING BASKET OUTSIDE YOUR CLASSROOM DOOR FOR
PICK UP.

PARKING PERMITS: Students who drive to school are required to pick up a PARKING
PERMIT in the office. PLEASE NOTE: Parking is allowed in designated STUDENT
PARKING areas only.
Late Bus: The late bus runs Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The late bus will leave at
5:15 pm from the back entrance. If you plan to ride the late bus, you must sign up in the
office.
The weight room will be opening on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:00
starting September 8th. Any questions, see Mr. Reynolds.
Computer Lab will open after school from 3:00—5:00 p.m.



