What I need to know about Grad Night 2015
What to bring?





Photo ID (AZ license or Student ID)
Close-toed shoes for Laser Tag, wearing a white shirt is not recommended
Socks for Bowling
Purses will be checked prior to getting on the bus so do not bring anything that is
against school regulations, Security will be checking! We do not encourage purses
however if you choose to bring one it will receive a wristband that matches your
wristband and will be stored at the Prizes table

Medicine must be in the original packaging and have your name on it. There will be a First Aid
Station with a Nurse set up in the Command Center of the venue. In case of an emergency your
family may contact UltraStar at (520) 233-2431, phone messages will be checked by the staff.
You may also contact Maureen Delaney at (480) 227-5494. It is important to note that cell
phone service can be limited in areas of Ultra Star.
UltraStar Multi-Tainment Center is located on the Ak-Chin Reservation. If you leave the venue
without permission at any time during Grad Night you will no longer be protected by Federal
Laws. The Reservation has its own laws, the Police are fair but tough.
Schedule of Events:
9:00 pm – 9:30 pm





Graduate Family photo time on field
Proceed to Main Gym, entering through door on the west side of the building. All other
doors in the building will be locked.
Change into comfortable clothes/shoes. Make sure you use the bathroom if needed.
No need for money or backpacks/purses (backpacks are not allowed at the venue). If
you need to bring a purse you will receive a band for it that matches your wristband.
The bags will be stored at the Prize table until needed.
Proceed to Main Gym Lobby to begin check-in process.
9:30 pm – 10:30 pm



Go through security.
Line up in Main Gym
Once you have entered the Gym you must remain there, if you need to use the
bathroom you will be escorted there.



Buses begin transporting students to UltraStar Multi-tainment Center. Don’t be late!
You must ride the school buses to attend Grad night and come back to DV on the bus.
Nobody allowed on bus without a wristband. Nobody allowed on bus if coming from
the parking lot. All seniors must enter through the Main Gym.
In the event that a Senior doesn’t show up for registration the parents will be notified as
soon as possible.
10:30 pm – 10:45 pm

Last bus leaves for UltraStar
9:30 pm – 4:30 am: What will I be doing?

Food & drinks, DJ & dancing, Pool tables & Foosball, Ten Pins Down bowling (newest
and most technologically advanced bowling center in the state), Casino (Blackjack,
Roulette, Craps, Texas Hold ‘Em Poker with dealers who’ll teach you all you need to
know), Urban Arena Laser Tag (2 story arena with different play options from “Capture
the Base” to “Berserker”. Play solo or in teams), Play & Win Arcade (large arcade area
featuring the newest and hottest video and arcade games), Magician, Hypnotist Show,
Prizes (ongoing prizes drawn all night, remember to check Prize Board and claim prizes
before going into the Hypnotist show).
4:45 am

Load buses. All Depart
5:15 am


Buses arrive back at Desert Vista High School.
It is highly recommended that you pick up your Senior at the school rather than having
them drive home – they will be tired!
