
Please consider sponsoring an Oneg
Shabbat or Kiddush at the Synagogue
for happy occasions. Or, in the
alternative, you may choose to simply
make a “kiddish fund” donation.
What is a Kiddush?
The definition of a Kiddush is “a ceremony of
prayer and blessing over wine, performed by the
head of a Jewish household at the meal ushering
in the Sabbath or a holy day, or at the lunch
preceding it.”
Here at Congregation Beit Shalom, we celebrate
the Sabbath by having a Kiddush every Saturday
with our wonderful Rabbi, Eli Perlman. We eat,
drink, kibbutz and catch up on all the gossip. It
is a wonderful way to keep in touch with our
neighbors and friends. But, the Kiddush is a big
expense to the Synagogue.
If each person
donates $5.00 a month – the Kiddush will stay
the way it is now. Please assist us in keeping
this tradition in the manner we all enjoy. (Forms
are in the wall racks outside the office.)

Help us raise money – purchase gift
cards, at face value, for ShopRite and
Stop & Shop in denominations of $20,
$25, $50 and $100. They are available
at the office for both stores.

We are accepting used toner and
printer cartridges.
The Minyan is looking for congregants for
their daily services (see schedule at top of
the page). Please call Al Feuchtwanger
@ 609-395-9372.
