■■ PGS14019 is located in the eastern part of the Bjarmeland Platform, in the formerly disputed zone, close to the border of the Russian sector in the Barents Sea A ■■ This part of the Barents Sea is a frontier area with no wells drilled to date and the future exploration potential is believed to be high. This GeoStreamer survey, which is an extension to Area A of the group shoot, covers one relatively large structural high D B ■■ The area has potential mature source rocks at multiple levels from Carboniferous to Triassic and possible reservoir rocks at several stratigraphic levels from Upper Palaeozoic to Jurassic C ■■ On the Russian side of the border several large gas discoveries have been made within the Triassic; this same geological setting is believed to straddle the border into Norwegian waters Bjarmeland Platform Barents Sea South-East 1,000 sq km of new GeoStreamer® data 11,700 sq km of high-density 3D Towed Streamer EM A Clearer Image www.pgs.com MultiClient Marine Contract Imaging & Engineering Operations Bjarmeland Platform MultiClient Seismic Acquisition PGS MultiClient GeoStreamer acquisition in the Barents Sea south east PGS has a new MultiClient GeoStreamer survey in the Barents Sea south east - an extension to polygon A in the Barents Sea South East program.
