Group HB) SPECIFICATION & PRODUCTS FOR INDUSTRIAL WP STREET LIGHT POLE MOUNTED JUNCTION BOXES/
TELEPHONE BOXES IN CAST ALUMINIUM/FRP/POLYCARBONATE ENCLOSURES :- Supply of F R P J.B. dust, vermin and weather proof
suitable for Wall/structure mounting. All the enclosures are HOT moulded out of superior quality SMC compound. All the mating surfaces are
provided with round rubber gasket so as to make it effectively dust and vermin proof. Typical enclosures with different types of actuators
mounted are tested by many of our customers for confirmation to IP65 Class of protection. Our Junction Boxes are suitable for outdoor
installation without any canopy.
MOUNTING :- Internal holes are given for mounting. External legs can be provided, if required.
FIXING OF TERMINALS :- For wall mounting /Structure Mounting J. Box terminals are fixed inside the box. Cover is fixed bolted type.
CABLE ENTRIES :- Threaded cable entries are provided at the bottom or at top and on sides as per requirement.
HARDWARE :- All external hardware used will be stainless steel.
INSPECTION & TESTING :- Each J.B.will be subjected to routine tests in accordance with relevant Indian Standards &including following (1)
Dimensional check as per drawing. (2) Operation test. (3) Insulation test with 500V Megger. (4) HV Test at 2KV for 60 Seconds. (5) Earth
continuity test.

Elmax/connectwell make, which are known for quality and reliability. Better than IP65 Class of Protection (c) Non-deteriorating Neoprene sponge

ADVANTAGES OF CAST ALUMINIUM J.B.SHEET METAL FABRICATED J.B. :- (1) Cast Aluminium J.B. enclosures can be made in any
desired and convenient shape and thus ensuring dust, vermin and weatherproof ness. It is impossible to get any desired shape in sheet metal.
(2) In case of Cast aluminum all individual pieces will be exactly of same size and shape as these are cast out of same mould. Fabricated boxes are
likely to vary in shape on account of human error and other difficulties. (3) Finishing of Cast Aluminium will be superb and same is not possible
in small fabricated boxes. (4) Aluminium is lightweight and non-corrosive whereas sheet metal is heavy and corrosive. Cast Aluminium has even
good scrap value.
CABLE ENTRIES :- Threaded cable entries are provided. Unless otherwise specified no gland will be provided.
EARTHING :- Earthing is provided on both sides of enclosures by 5mm screw with two plain washers and spring washer of brass.
FIXING OF TERMINALS FOR POLE BOXES :- For pole mounting terminal Boxes terminals are fixed inside the box. Cover is fixed bolted type.
FIXING OF TERMINALS FOR TELEPHONE J.B :- For wall mounting /Structure Mounting J. Box terminals are fixed inside the box. Cover is
fixed bolted type.

MOUNTING FOR CAST ALU TELEPHONE J.B :- Mounting holes are inside or external four lugs are provided for fixing. The lugs offset in
such a way that the rear part of the unit stays away from the surface by at least 3mm.
MOUNTING FOR CAST ALUMINIUM POLE BOXE :- Arrangement provided for fixing.
NIPPLE :- Suitable Nipple is provided at the back of pole box, which fits on pole hole in such a way that transverse motion of box is prevented.
Outgoing cable for streetlight can be taken through this Nipple.

type, which are known for quality and reliability. Even spares are available freely anywhere in India. (c) Better than IP65 Class of Protection. (d)
Non deteriorating Neoprene sponge rubber gasket.

weatherproof suitable for Wall / Structure mounting. All the enclosures are cast out of superior quality aluminum alloy. All the surfaces re
carefully cleaned and leveled so as to give very smooth surface. All the enclosures are chromatised and finally epoxy powder coated by static
charge spray method by light grey shade 631 as per IS5. Powder coating gives very tough durable and extremely smooth surface. All the mating
surfaces are provided with round rubber gasket in the groove so as to make it effectively dust and vermin proof. Typical enclosures with
different types of actuators mounted are tested by many of our customers for IP65 Class of protection. Our Junction Boxes are suitable for
outdoor installation without any canopy.
