REGISTRATION /THEATER COUPON MESSAGE FROM KEN The goal of the Florida RTC office is to keep retiree members informed about events, courses, meetings and special activities that take place in Florida. To this end, we encourage you to provide us with an email address so that we can share information with you. We are sending email notices for meetings and events since the New York Teacher is published once a month now. If you are not currently receiving any email announcements from the Florida office, you should send an email to [email protected] and include your full name, the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number, and your Florida telephone number (or cell phone number). Rest assured that your email address will not be distributed to any other organization. This bulletin lists the meetings, events, seminars and courses available to the various RTC Sections around Florida. You may attend any meeting or event. It is important that you register for all events either by sending an email to [email protected], or mailing the coupon to the Florida office . Please share this bulletin with anyone you know who is a “snowbird.” Encourage them to provide us with their email address so that they are aware of Florida activities and events even if they are not at their Florida residence at the time. Lastly, we are always looking for suggestions on new courses, seminars and day trips. If you would like to teach a course or a seminar, please email your idea to [email protected]. Unfortunately, we are only able to offer courses in our Boca Raton office. So, whether you are in Florida just for the season or are here full-time, we hope you will enjoy the RTC Programs that are offered this season. 2 HOW TO REGISTER Each registrant must complete a separate registration coupon with their name, last four digits of social security number, address, phone number and course information.  Provide the correct course code and course title. Write a separate check/money order for FI/FS courses. Course registration fee is $10.00. Seminar fee is $2.  Spouses, registered domestic partners, AFT, NYSUT and PSC members are waitlisted. Do not enclose a payment for them.  If a spouse is not registering for any of the programs, do not write his/her name in the line provided.  Each registrant must pay with his/her own checks/money orders payable to UFTWF Retiree Programs. Include on the checks/money orders the course number exactly as it appears in the course description.
