A bold blend of primarily Zinfandel, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, Apothic Red
leaves a lasting impression of flavor and texture on the palate. Zinfandel offers bold dark
fruit flavors and spicy notes, complemented by the soft mouthfeel of Merlot. The Syrah
adds layers of smooth blueberry, while the Cabernet Sauvignon delivers ripe fruit flavors

This Cabernet marks the first vintage for the inclusion of Lake County sourcing in
our Cabernet Sauvignon blend. Lake County contributed incredible ripe fruit and a
generous mouthfeel and viscosity to the overall blend. Sonoma County vineyards
supplied jammy dark fruits, and Napa County vineyards were instrumental in
establishing the foundation for structure and density to support Sonoma County’s
fruit forward characteristics. The wine displays aromas and flavors of plums and
blackberries, with layered notes of mocha, toasted pound cake and roasted nuts.
This wine has superb complexity and an aging potential up to 3 years.

blend a wine which accentuates the best of what each region has to offer. Our
Merlot has the powerful structure of Napa balanced with the luscious mixed
berry fruit of Sonoma, all in one bottle. This Merlot brings both of these elements
together in full-force along with some marvelous aromas of dried black cherry and
humidor with toastiness from our judicious use of French and American Oak. The
result is a wine with a dense body from the cooler vintage showing through in the

Approachable and fruit-driven, our Mirassou Pinot Noir has flavors of
cherry, strawberry and red currant supported by light vanilla aromas from
oak. This wine is well balanced with a round, full mouthfeel.
Our Mirassou California Chardonnay has delicious flavors of juicy
peach and nectarine, complemented by a hint of citrus. A subtle oak
character frames this medium-bodied wine.
A longtime favorite, our Mirassou California Riesling has wonderful aromas and
flavors of apricot, peach and ripe golden apple. Bright and approachable, this
wine has a delightful mouthfeel with a delicate balance of sensations that tang,
tingle and delight.
The reddish-purple hues of our Sunset Red Blend are reminiscent of a beautiful
California sunset. As the Pinot Noir pioneers to California, we are paying tribute
to this elegant grape that we introduced here more than a century ago by letting
it take the lead in this blend. Its sophisticated flavors of pomegranate and dark
cherry are well-complemented by Zinfandel’s spice notes and red fruit flavors.
To enhance the features of both varieties while rounding out the mouthfeel, we
added a touch of Merlot.
