Chit Chats, Family Support Drop–In, includes snack (under 5’s)
For expectant parents and families with children aged 0-5 years.

Parenting & Family Learning Courses

Play and Learn (under 5’s)
Each session is based on an area of learning and development from the Early
Years Foundation Stage, and may include, art & craft, experiments, story and song
time and free play.
SEN Group Stay & play (under 5’s)
For children with additional needs and their parents. Run by Centre staff,
Bournemouth Early Years SEN Team and Portage.
Southbourne Bosom Buddies Breastfeeding Group
A friendly group to give support and guidance you need in breastfeeding your
baby. Run by breastfeeding support worker and peer supporters.
Under One’s Group
Offering support and activities to families with children under one.
Independent play sessions not delivered by the Children’s Centre
CoMotion Movement and Dance for Toddlers
Children are encouraged to experience movement and dance in many different forms,
learn new skills, play, create and dance with their caregivers and their friends.
Sensory Experiences - Minky Moos
A unique development enhancing sensory session with music, songs, sounds,
colours, textured toys, bubbles, effective lights and flashing objects.
