HOW TO APPLY GUIDE
Thank you for showing interest for the MSR India Research Fellow Program. This short guide provides
you with the information on the application process.
Documents Needed to Apply:
1) Updated Curriculum Vitae
2) Statement of Purpose (SOP) - Please write a 1-2 page statement about your interest in research,
your background and what topics you want to do research in, and why you want to apply to the
MSR India Research Fellowship program
3) Three references

STEP 1: Sign in and create a Profile –

Please ensure you are providing the most recent information
Upload the most updated CV under the Attachment section (refer screenshot below)
Upload your SOP under Research Statement/Papers &Publications section. Selecting the
drop down Research Statement or Description of Research Applicability (refer screenshot
below)
Provide the email ids for three references. Please note that the emails will directly go to the
references from the application tool. Hence kindly keep them informed so that they respond
to the reference request.
STEP 2: Applying for the MSR India Research Fellow

Once your profile is complete and saved, go to Apply Tab
Select MSR India Research Fellow from the list of positions. (refer screen shot below)
Select the research area you are interested in (you can choose more than one too)
Review the application and submit
