King Cakes for
Epiphany!
King Cakes will be availabe
every Friday through Epiphany
from January 9 through
February 13 and Fat Tuesday,
February 16. Our recipe for
King Cakes comes from the
Great Harvest in Lafayette, LA,
and this is a decadent,
celebration treat not to be
missed.
Our version is a cinnamon
infused delight with a cream
cheese pecan filling. We’ll give
you a little baby doll to insert
along with a packet of mardi
gras beads. Whoever gets the
"baby" in their slice will
traditionally bring the King
Cake to the next gathering.
One of our cakes will
generously treat 20.

New Year. To kick off the New Year
at the bakery, we are delighted to
bring you Cinnamon Cranberry Apple
bread, made with 100% fresh milled
golden wheat and packed with
Cranberries and Apples to start your
new year right. All of us at Great
Harvest wish you a happy and healthy
2015.
Orange Creamsicle cookies are back.
Let’s all have a little faith that summer
will return while savoring this dreamy
cookie. We are going to make them
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
and also keep Ginger Cookies coming
out of the oven Saturday mornings.

Sunburst Bread for January!
Lemon Sunburst comes out of the oven
Monday, Wednesday and Saturday this
month bringing with it irresistable
smiles. These gorgeous sunny globes
of fresh baked melt in your mouth
goodness just make us happy. We
sweeten this bread with pure cane
sugar to allow the full lemon flavor to
come through with every bite. Take
home a little pot of our lemon glaze to
warm up and spread over your loaf (we
don’t want to leave any of that
goodness on the inside of a bag). You
will want to warm yourself in this
sunshine more than once, so hurry in.
