Brain Stem Glioma
Ashley is a girl who loves to model and pose for the cameras.
Cancer doesn’t slow her down. Her mom, Jennyffer, never thought
her little girl would be found to suffer from a brain stem glioma, a
rare type of cancer in children. The news was shocking, but
Ashley’s doctor sent her to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®
for her care and treatment. When Ashley’s family arrived at St.
Jude, they felt hope. Jennyffer is grateful for everything St. Jude
has done for Ashley.

DJ El Padrino
Maite Perroni
Maite Perroni Beorlegui was born in Mexico
City, where she studied acting at Televisa's
Centro de Educación Artistica (CEA) in 2000,
graduating later in 2003.
Maite made her acting debut in Rebelde
where she portrayed Guadalupe "Lupita"
Fernández, a teenage girl from a lower class
family who gets the opportunity to study at
the fictitious Elite Way School. Rebelde ran
from 2004 to 2006, filming 440 episodes.
From this project the popular band RBD was
born. For four years, RBD sold over 11
million copies worldwide obtaining diamond, platinum and gold discs. RBD made
9 studio albums, including albums in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
RBD embarked on various international tours including all of Latin America, the
United States and Europe with utmost popularity in countries like Brazil, Spain,
Romania, Slovenia and of course Mexico. In their career they won various
awards under categories such as: “Best Band of the Year”, “Best Album of the
Year”, “Best Concert” and “Best Song of the Year”. A limited edition Barbie doll
version of Perroni was released based on her character in RBD. Maite has been
the face of various advertising campaigns thanks to her exceptional image.
Maite has achieved great success in television and film in just the last few years.
In 2008 Maite starred as the main character in Cuidado con el Ángel next to
William Levy, Elena Rojo, Ricardo Blume, and Laura Zapata among other
renowned actors. In 2009, she starred in Juan Osorio's produced show, Mi
Pecado, which led the Univision charts, naming her “the queen of telenovelas”.
The opening song of the show was recorded by Maite and Reik, entitled "Mi
Pecado Eres Tu". This same year, Maite topped the 50 Most Beautiful list from
People en Español, sharing the front cover with Eva Longoria and Ana Bárbara.
Maite went on the Maite Perroni Brazilian Tour in 2010 where she toured the
most important cities of Brazil. She then starred in the show Mujeres Asesinas
in episodes “Las Blanco” and “Viudas” next to Diana Bracho and Luz Maria
Aguilar directed by Carlos Garcia Agraz. In 2011, Maite starred in Triunfo del
Amor (Triumph of Love) starring William Levy and Victoria Ruffo as the main
characters - another huge success in Maite’s acting career.
Maite Perroni was recognized as one of the 25 most influential Latin women
according to People en Español in 2011 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel of Coconut
Grove in Miami, Florida. She received special recognition from TVyNovelas as
the “Most Popular Artist of Social Media”. Maite affirms that social media is the
tool that allows her to be close to people who support and continue to support
her through her acting and musical career.
Leslie Grace
When great talent is recognized, nurtured and encouraged
from an early age, and is paired with a lot of hard work and an
incredible desire to reach your dreams, we get Leslie Grace.
This young New Yorker, born of Dominican parents, was
entertaining her five older siblings and parents when she could
barely speak, at the age of two. Rather than dismiss it as
childish games, her family gave her the confidence to trust in
her talent and pursue success doing what she loves: writing
and performing songs.
That trust has paid off. She launched her professional career
with her single, "Will U Still Love Me Tomorrow," a bilingual,
bachata-infused cover of the 1961 Shirelles hit, co-written by
the iconic Carole King.
In May, she embarked on an extensive promotional tour in
most major cities throughout the country, culminating in a history making event: at just 17
years old, Leslie Grace is the youngest female singer to reach #1 on Billboard’s Latin Radio
Airplay chart. As part of her promotional tour, she also appeared on Premios Juventud
2012 to great reviews, and stopped along the way at the well-known, long-lived Sábado
Gigante show, with Don Francisco.
Her talent and charisma are not limited to the North American continent. In July of 2012, on
the island of Curaçao, an audience of 15,000 at the North Sea Jazz Festival was in for a
treat when the young high-schooler performed for them just minutes before Alicia Keys took
the stage. South America also gets to experience Leslie Grace and her talent. At the end of
November she is scheduled to appear in Teletón Chile, where she will be performing at
Estadio Nacional before an estimated audience of approximately 60,000 people. She has
also been invited to serve as a judge and perform at the prestigious, week-long 2013 Viña
del Mar International Song Festival; a music festival known for launching stars in the Latin
American world since 1960.
Although it might seem she has achieved success overnight, the truth is it has taken many
years of preparation to get to where she finds herself today. Her elementary school years,
in New York, always saw her enrolled in music programs. At 14, she recorded her first
album and continued to work on her singing and writing. A couple of years later, it was a
stroke of luck when her father met Top Stop Music A & R executive, Angel Vasquez, who
coincidentally had been charged by Top Stop Music’s founder and multi Grammy winner,
Sergio George, to be on the lookout for a female vocalist. Leslie’s father took advantage of
this fortuitous meeting to show Vasquez the album she had recorded at 14. “When I heard
Leslie for the first time, I knew my search was finally over,” says George of his first
encounter with the young singer’s talent.
Today, Leslie Grace lives in Davie Florida with her family and continues to pursue her
musical education as a member of her high school choir, as well as taking piano and music
reading lessons. As she prepares to launch her second single, “Day One,” which she cowrote with her friend and collaborator, Rey King, she strives to stay true to herself, “I am no
different than a lot of Latinos my age. I am of Dominican descent, and as such I sometimes
listen to bachata, other times to pop, R&B and hip-hop, as well as other music genres,
which leads me to believe that other Latinos my age like to listen to artists who can
represent the mix that we all are.”
This young woman is only beginning to reveal her talent to the world. She is currently
working in collaboration with her long-time mentor, co-writer and producer, Rey King. Her
album, which is being produced by Sergio George, is scheduled for release in the first
quarter of 2013.

this vision to her audience. Currently living in New York City, Sabrina tirelessly

Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute.

for childhood cancers from less than 20 percent when the hospital opened in
1962 to 80 percent today.
