2014-15 OCAA VARSITY WOMEN’S INDOOR SOCCER INFORMATION SHEET UTM has entered the OCAA and will field their first ever UTM Eagles Varsity Indoor Soccer teams. All students must be full time students registered through the UTM registrar. Note: UTM students, as students of the University of Toronto, are welcome to try-out for the U of T Varsity Blues Soccer in the fall, but are then ineligible to try-out for the UTM Eagles Varsity team for this calendar year. Head Coach Name: Damian Yearwood E-mail: [email protected] Information Meeting: Thursday, November 11th at 5pm in Multi-purpose Room A in the RAWC Try-outs: No fee to try-out Tuesday, November 18th from 6 - 8pm (Gym A/B) Wednesday, November 19th from 6 - 8pm (Gym A/B) Thursday, November 20th from 7:30 - 9pm (Gym A/B) Final try-out TBA: Week of November 24th (Turf Facility) Selection Criteria: Technical ability Fitness (strength, speed, endurance) Tactical awareness Attitude Coach-ability Commitment Team Composition: 11 – 18 players, including 2 goalkeepers Team Practices: Team will train on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday nights.
