What is Origami ?
Origami is the ancient craft of folding paper.“Ori” means fold and “gami’
means paper. It actually started in China 13 centuries ago after paper was
invented there. It was then brought to Japan where it became part of the
Japanese cultural tradition.
We have taken this ancient art and provided you with fun embellishments

Origami is a craft that requires patience. Some of
the folds are a little challenging and may take time to
learn. If you need help ask an adult or older friend
to craft with you. Follow the pictures and illustrations
carefully.
The designs in this instructions booklet go from
basic (the easiest) to advanced (the most challenging). If you are a beginner try some of the basic
designs in the front of the booklet to practice
making these folds. The folds will also be used to
complete more challenging designs towards the
back of the booklet.
Look at the symbols in the “Symbols Key” section.
These arrows and lines will be seen in the diagrams.
Each symbol tells you what the picture is instructing
you to do to the paper.
Adding Embellishments
After creating the origami, use rhinestones, wiggly
eyes, glitter glue and more to embellish your designs.
