A MESSAGE FROM SUPERVISOR KATE MURRAY
Dear Friends:
This Calendar of Events, compiled by the Town of Hempstead Office of Tourism,
details many of the outstanding activities for residents and visitors alike during
the month of July.
The Town’s free outdoor concert series is in full swing. Our parks provide excellent
venues for a wide variety of musical entertainment. Our children’s summer festival
offers three exciting shows this month, “The
Magic & Comedy of Jim McClenahan,”
Darlene Graham - “Singing at the Beach” and
“Erik’s Reptile Edventure.” Several sports and
recreational opportunities round out an exciting
month of activities in Hempstead Town.
Tourism affords an opportunity for residents
and visitors to enjoy many services, facilities
and programs within the township. Hempstead
continues to offer top-notch programs and
services at the same time as town officials
have reduced total town taxes for 2014.
Please enjoy everything that America’s
largest township has to offer.
Sincerely,
KATE MURRAY
Supervisor
