Candidates having a Master's degree in Engineering/Technology/Science and a valid fellowship such as CSIR-SRF or CSIR-UGC-JRF or equivalent have been considered for the ‘Fellowship Category’ as advertised by NAL. Candidates with CGPA/Percentage more than 8.0/80 (7.5/75 for SC/ST/PH candidates) have been considered for short listing under this category. 2. Candidates having a Master's degree in Engineering/Technology/Science with experience and Industry/NAL-Project Sponsorship have been considered for the ‘Sponsorship Category’ as per the AcSIR general guidelines. Candidates with CGPA/Percentage more than 7.5/75 (7.0/70 for SC/ST/PH candidates) have been considered for short listing under this category. 3. NAL scientist who have joined from 2009 onwards should have been cleared by the NAL Academic Committee 4. NAL project sponsored candidates should have submitted the hard copy of the ‘online generated sponsorship form duly endorsed by the sponsoring PL & competent authority ’ to the NAL coordinator 5. Industry sponsored candidates should have submitted the hard copy of the ‘online generated sponsorship form duly endorsed by competent authority of the organization where employed’ to the NAL coordinator 6. Since M.E/M.Tech/MS candidates with a valid GATE score are not entitled to get fellowship for Ph.D programme, they have not been considered. Instructions/information for Short-listed Candidates: 1. Candidates must bring the signed copy of the Online Application and Proof of eligibility which are mandatory for appearing in the interview. 2. No TA/DA shall be paid to the shortlisted candidates for attending the interview and they will have to make their own arrangement for accommodation. 3. Candidates who have applied with JRF/SRF/INSPIRE fellowship must have a valid and tenable fellowship by January 2015. 4. Sponsored candidates should have submitted the hard copy of the application along with sponsorship letter to the lab AcSIR coordinator. They should also submit a letter of acceptance by the scientists of the lab willing to guide them. 5. Candidates must confirm their attending the interview by sending a Statement of Purpose (SOP) by email to [email protected] immediately not later than 01/12/2014. 6.
