Criteria Applicable to Short listing of candidates for Engineering Sciences is based on the applicants qualifications Faculty of and secured Valid Fellowship (JRF/SRF of Engineering Sciences various funding agencies, e.g. CSIR, UGC, DBT, DST etc. or INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowships) and also option given for CSIR-CFTRI as 1 and 2. (Project assistants/ fellows/ interns are not considered). Industry sponsored candidates: Candidates should be from reputed Industries and also have Industry sponsored authenticated document from the Industries stating candidates that they are willing sponsor the candidate for their PhD research under AcSIR. Short-listed Candidates will be allowed to attend the interview only on producing VALID Fellowship Award Letters from the funding agencies with clear mention of monthly stipend, contingency grant and stipulated tenure of Fellowship.
