Engineered for demanding tour sound
reinforcement applications, the VTX S25 is a
compact, high output subwoofer housing two
15" Neodymium Differential Drive® transducers
in a front-loaded, vented alignment with
two large area, laminar-flow ports to ensure
incredibly linear response combined with
minimum port turbulence.
Featuring the same, high performance, roadtested JBL 2267H low frequency transducers
as employed in VTX V25, the VTX S25 serves
as the perfect companion subwoofer for the
high-output VTX V20 while ensuring sonic
consistency when V20 and/or S25 enclosures
are combined with V25 from a sound design
perspective.
VTX S25 suspension hardware is fully captive
and compatible with the new dual mode
Angle Stop Mechanism (ASM) suspension
system developed for VTX V20, allowing S25
enclosures to be suspended either above or in
the middle of VTXV20 arrays with no additional
suspension hardware required.
Whether ground-stacked, suspended beside
or behind V20 or V25 arrays, or employed in
hybrid arrays with VTX V20, the VTX S25 can
be deployed in either front-firing or cardioid
mode. For cardioid configurations (multiples of
3 S25 enclosures with 2 front-firing S25 : 1 rearfiring S25) 15-25 dB broadband SPL rejection
can be obtained behind the array.
Comprehensive OEM factory V5 preset
support for Crown Audio I-Tech 4x3500HD
or I-Tech 12000HD amplifiers, combined with
complete system control and management
through JBL HiQnet Performance Manager™
ensures consistent, optimal results every time
VTX S25 is deployed.
Fully captive magnetically-locking flip hinges
and Quick Release Pin (QRP) suspension
hardware along with strategically-located
handles facilitate transportation and system
setup. For added flexibility, a reinforced M20
extension rod receptacle allows S25 to be used
with VTX F Series enclosures for small format
FOH applications.
