Course details
If you're a trade qualified plumber or gas fitter looking to take the next step in your career the Certificate IV in
Plumbing and Services (Operations Stream) is the ideal program for you. During this program, you'll learn how to
plan, size and layout:
sanitary drainage systems
stormwater drainage systems
domestic treatment plant disposal systems
consumer gas installations
sanitary pipework and fixtures
hot and cold water services and systems.
You'll also learn about how to estimate and cost work, establish business and legal requirements and carry out
work based risk control processes.
You have several options when completing this program and the study pathway you choose will depend upon your
desired career outcomes. Your options are:
Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services (Operational Stream) complete program
To achieve a Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services (you will need to complete 15 units of competency listed below)
4 Licencing programs extracted from the full Certificate IV qualification. Please note there is no CSQ funding
available for these licencing programs.

Drainer. Cost: $2799.90
Gasfitter. Cost: $2660.00

a current Provisional Plumbers and/or
a current Provisional Drainers Licence or
for the gas fitting stream, a holder of a current Interim Gas Work Licence
