to the office to improve your business!
Testing and certification
This roundtable workshop will look at the importance of testing
and certification. Obviously, for any railway or metro system, safety
and reliability is paramount. New technologies and any
operational upgrades must be tested effectively but how can this
be done in the most time and cost efficient manner possible?

Optimizing asset life cycle with intelligent condition-based
maintenance
Railway operators and OEMs require the highest rates of safety,
quality, profitability and energy efficiency. An effective and
intelligent condition detection system to monitor and plan
maintenance can guarantee this; detecting damage and allowing
sufficient time for repairs before rail operations are affected.

Fleet and Infrastructure Asset Management
Railway operators and infrastructure managers need to maximise
functionality and operational performance; effectively managing
and reducing Whole Life Cost of all assets, whilst ensuring safety or
minimising costs is key for a profitable business. Years of experience
and lessons learned across a wide range of industries will be
outlined in this workshop, designed to assist in implementing
business-critical asset management strategy.
Workshop Host:
Rail and 'The Internet of Things'
Railways have more passenger data, travel information and
analysis potential than they have ever had before. This data can
be an asset when utilised in the right way. Effective use of
analytics and real time computing can reduce cost and improve
passenger services. It can also lead to better management of
fleet to improve on time performance and reliability. This session
looks at how to make big data a competitive advantage
