ADMISSIONS 2015-16
GENERAL INFORMATION
The school will follow admission procedure to entry level classes as under:
1. The school will be admitting 145 students at the entry level in academic session 2015-16.

2. AGE ELIGIBILITY
3 years for Pre-School (Nursery)
4 years for Pre-Primary (Kindergarten)
(Photocopy of Birth Certificate to be attached with the Application Form)
Minimum Age as on March 31, 2015
3. ADMISSION CRITERIA shall be as under:





25% of the seats shall be reserved for the EWS/DG category.
25% shall be reserved for Siblings.
15% shall be reserved for children of Alumni.
15% shall be the Management Quota which would include the children of serving teachers.
20% shall be the General category.
In respect of the Sibling Quota not being filled – the unfilled seats shall be offered to Alumni subject to a
total reservation in that category being increased from 15% to a maximum of 20%. Further unfilled seats
shall be added to the General category.
5% of the total number of seats in each individual category (other than EWS/DG category and
Management Quota) shall be preferentially allowed to the Female Child and Children with Special Needs
of the type catered for by the School.
In any category if applications are more than the available seats, the selection shall be done by a draw of
lots.
The process for the selection of EWS/DG category applicants shall be carried out as per the prevailing
guidelines of the Directorate of Education.
4. AVAILABILITY AND SUBMISSION OF FORMS

Application Forms for registration to entry level classes can be downloaded from school website
www.modernschoolvv.com.

The Common Application Form for admission under EWS/DG category under the RTE Act, 2009
prescribed by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi will be made available for
parents at the School Office until January 20, 2015. The form can also be downloaded from
www.edudel.nic.in.

Duly completed application forms for all categories (other than EWS/DG category)
accepted in the School Office from January 5, 2015 to January 15, 2015 as under:

(a) For Pre-School : From 9.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. (Monday to Friday)
(b) For Pre-Primary : From 12:00 noon to 1.00 p.m. (Monday to Friday)

No forms will be accepted after 1.00 p.m. on January 15, 2015 (Thursday) for all categories (other
than EWS/DG category).

For EWS/DG category, forms will be accepted till 1 p.m. on January 20, 2015 (Tuesday).

List of students admitted will be put up within February 2015.

Admission process will be completed by March 31, 2015.
