what’s ArtWalk Little India exactly? Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and LASALLE College of the Arts, with the support of Little India Shopkeepers & Heritage Association (LISHA), present ARTWALK LITTLE INDIA (Sat 17 Jan 2015 – Wed 21 Jan 2015), a public art project set in the cultural precinct of Little India in Singapore. Through artworks, film, music and many other performances by students from LASALLE, the history and traditions of Little India, as well as the personal stories of its long-term residents, will be brought to life in a multi-sensory art experience. ARTWALK LITTLE INDIA is part of Singapore Art Week 2015, the pinnacle of Singapore’s art calendar. LITTLE INDIA SINGAPORE Singapore is known for its multi-cultural society, and Little India has always played a vital role in maintaining that image.
