The specification details are as under: Name of the Item with Specification 1. The interested firms are requested to submit their quotations in TWO BID SYSTEM by superscribing “Quotation for Sonicator ” addressed to the Director (I/c), Seribiotech Research Laboratory, Carmelram Post, Sarjapur Road, Kodathi, Bangalore – 560 035. 2. The Technical and Financial bids should be submitted separately in two separate sealed covers, superscribed as “Technical” and “Financial” bids, and both the sealed covers should be enclosed within a single sealed cover, superscripted as “Quotation for Sonicator”. The Quotations should reach this office on or before 4th February 2015 by 2.00 P.M. Quotations received after the due date and time will summarily be rejected. Page 1 of 2 3. The Technical bid of the firms will be opened on 4th February 2015 at SBRL Kodathi at 3.00 P.M. in the presence of authorized representatives of the firms, who may wish to be present. The technical bids shall be evaluated by a committee and clarification if any, sought from the bidders/firms on or before 09.02.2015. The technically qualified bidders/firms will be intimated and the Financial bid of ONLY those bidders/firms whose technical bids are accepted shall be opened by the committee on 09.02.2015 at 3.00 PM at SBRL KODATHI. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The rates should be quoted in Figures and words. Any arthimatecal error in the total will be corrected by this office and figures will be final. 2. EMD 3. Quantity 4. Warranty & Technical Service Support General 11 EMD @ 2% of the total cost of the equipment may be submitted in the form of Demand Draft/ Banker Cheque drawn in favour of the Director SBRL Kodathi Bangalore payable at Bangalore alongwith Technical Bid. Quotations without EMD will be summarily rejected. If the firm is under exemption of EMD the necessary certificate should be enclosed for such exemption. The quantity could be reduced or increased at the decision of the Director. The Quotations should be valid for 120 days from the date of opening and Rates should be valued for six months from the date of award of contract. The Items should be supplied to this office within 30 days from the date of placement of the purchase order and installed at SBRL Kodathi Bangalore. The awarded firm has to execute the Performance Security @5% on the cost of the item in the form of Bank Gurantee within 15 days from the date of receipt of the supply order. Payment will not be affected either in cash or in advance. The firms interested to quote should be ready to supply the items on credit basis. Payment will be made only after supply of the item as per specification. Should be quoted separately and clearly with taxes whatever applicable with documentary evidence. Penalty @0.5 % will be imposed for delayed in supply for each week or part thereof to the maximum 10% of the total cost and the same will be deducted from the bill without any intimation.
